I was around for the two month PSN fiasco last year and they never really addressed anything during that process. Don't put a lot of stock in what they say, guys. They make great electronics, but that's about as far as it goes. Edit: I will guarantee they are pushing CCP to finish the game, but their recent claims of the release are merely a means to drum up business for the new PS3.

When Christmas promotions kick in, you're gonna see it more. You are probably also going to see massive "merc pack" bundling from sony in an effort to get more $. And for those that say Sony has complete control over the game, that is in fact not true. Sony has exclusivity rights and a strong influence, but first and foremost is CCP's copyright of the game and the world it's set in. Sony can push, prod, release public statements to force CCP's hand (by stating to the press that the game is available in the bundle, it forces CCP into the spotlight), but they cannot directly force the game to release. Playstation is NOT in the business of making video games. That's why they hire CCP, Treyarch, EA, and the likes.

But being responding here show that you like speculations about your game, without giving an answer at all. I understand this and can deal with it. For not being an EVE player (only for the 21st test days), I now begining to see where you gonna bring us with DUST Well, I keep really good hopes for tonight's tests and IRC's tchat tomorrow... The gameplay isn't addictive unless you are playing in a group. Just get the next build out, get us onto TQ so we can see what frame rate & lag are like. And don't add extra content. The "we can't stop work on C&D to fix A&B" theory is bad. Great for getting a bad game out on time though. Like Homefront. Just get the game stable, lag free and frame rate consistent. Then release. If any of those 3 things are not right, don't release.

Please consider their history, their ability to admit mistakes, and their desire to put out the best game possible to make their fans happy. They know the profits for this game are going to require that it be one people will play for a long time. For being a F2P game, they sure are busting their humps.
