Guydon Antllies HoloSec Armaments and Security 51	Posted - 2012.09.26 17:56:00 - [1] - Quote i really dont want ccp to be rushed too hard during this beta.. i know the game will constantly be updated after launch, but i feel a game's launch is very important to it's overall sucess.... there is so much work left to be done and i mam very excited for next build, been with this beta since early june and have fallen in love with the game's progression. hopefully we become wowed in the next coming months... but i feel the beta could stretch into feb or march... if it needs to take that long to create a truly amazing social and gaming medium that we all want it to be..... hopefully patience will be key! love, breakfast maker

Open beta will open later this year, Winter '12. this game will constantly have updates and new things added and more updates to fix other updates.... its just how this works. i dont think the game will release to the public as a "game" this year at all. even during Open beta i'm sure we'll still see "Work In Progress" at the tops of our screens.

Actually with all of the news coming that Dust will be packaged with the new playstation 3, I do think it will come out this year. But also expect major updates along the way for the next year.

I agree with you, make sure everything works well before releasing it. The worse thing that could happen to DUST would be getting panned at release. Even its free to play title can't save it. Edit: They should still push for a december release. Get it done right, and get it done now.
