I always have a nanite injector on my assault suit and I always use as often as I possibly can. The only time I don't is if I can't make it to the person because I have to fight my way to them. |

Individual accounts and scenarios don't change the bigger picture however. It's like me telling you how often I Rep and Revive when I am playing Logi, one man does not push back the tide. I do however appreciate that you use your injector. |

I agree. As a fellow medic player, it sucks to follow a group of people spraynprayin, reviving and healing the whole way. I get downed by a stray bullet or some random shooter to pierce the group and none of the 3 medic guys nearby try to revive.
Makes me wonder what the game does when you press Square (the yell for help button) while dead. |

Sometimes the guys with the injectors are the snipers or assaults and while they're close enough to trigger the message they've often got other things going on.
Don't get me wrong reviving, especially a down logi (since they can also revive) is key, but it's important to keep in mind things aren't 'cut and dry' when it comes to Dust

I actually see this getting better over the last few days alone. As more people become aware of their desired rolls in the game, I think this is gonna become less of an issue. That being said, choosing to be a medic on the front lines is a hazardous job and those of us you put back in the fight do appreciate it.
Know that doesn't directly relate to your post, but wanted to give my two cents and appreciation as a frontline soldier.
Edit: And as Cross stated, in all the chaos I usually don't even realize a Logi is nearby unless they heal/regen me. |

I do logi, and I do not carry an injector on my logi suit. These need to be on the assault suits.
Logi doesn't mean I should get shot to save your fit. It happens this way quite a bit. It also happens that I get shot while rescuing your sorry butt just to have you respawn as I approach. Every few days, I go back to an injector fit, just in case the skies opened up and a miracle happens. Nope, folks will still despawn with a logi on top of them with the injector ready.
Most of your logi buddies will run into fire to save your butt. Running into fire to have the guy despawn, leaving you to face hostiles with a needle in hand is BS. .. and so I don't do it anymore.
Assaults can handle the res. Logis can do uplinks, armor reps and nanos. Toss in a shotgun to keep an eye on the squads' six. |

Also working with a repair tools seems to go more or less unnoticed by the target. I think there should a green or blue indicator for healing the same as there's red for damage on the HUD. It's not uncommon to see players that I'm trying to heal run with practically zero armor into enemy fire just because they don't seem to pay attention that they're being healed. |

Logi is a pretty horrible and thankless job this build..
Tried pretty hard a few times, and to be honest it just doesn't work too well:
/ Revive marker in some random location / Rest of team running around like rabbits on speed, leaving you to face the enemy by yourself if you stop to revive /Complete lack of co-ordination in most teams
Its a great theory, but I think its really going to need some bug fixing and more serious teams than Beta to get it to work. Nanohives are always good though. |

That's a big problem, don't ******* revive me if there are enemies on top of us, don't run through enemy fire to try to save anybody. Clear the area first and foremost, of any pertinent threat and whoever was patient enough to know what was going on should be revived if they haven't bled out. |

If there is lots of enemies on top of you then don't call for help. I hardly get any revives anymore unless I have a good team. I'm sick of coming close to death trying to save people only to have the guy despawn just as I'm stabbing him with my nanite injector. I spend most of my time repping people and throwing down nano hives and droplinks but I still carry an injector on all my logi fits just incase

You must be put in games with some stupid people then. My opinion is that people shouldn't play as a logi if they don't know what all of the tools do or if they plan on running around by themselves throwing nano hives at dead people. But something that annoys me is that most randoms don't protect me while I'm healing them or reviving someone. They just wait until I die and then run over my dead body. |

Personally I love to play the "chase the guy running away from me at 10% armour" game. Its a bit of a challenge, sure, but that's what makes it fun. If I can use all my cunning and wiles then maybe I can get close enough to rep him before he gets himself fragged.
Of course, when he does get fragged - out in the open, in a killzone - he'll wait for a few seconds to be revived. The reds will wait a few seconds to see if he gets revived; I'll wait a few seconds to see if the reds get bored.
After those few seconds, the reds get bored and leave, so I dart in with my injector; he gets bored and suicides just as I get there; the reds get bored and come back to shoot me.
So much fun to be had. |

I spend most of my time repping people and throwing down nano hives and droplinks but I still carry an injector on all my logi fits just incase So I'm supposed to just spend my ten to fifteen seconds looking at a map, waiting to respawn instead of calling and waiting for help? If you let the bleed out timer run down all the way (giving your teammates time to clear the area, then revive you) and you die and go to the spawn screen, you only have to wait for 3 seconds. If you are playing in ambush, and choose to bleed out, chances are you're going to have to do a random respawn. Personally, I would rather be revived around some teammates instead of a random area that could be on top of an enemy squad. We REALLY need a bleed out meter for players with nanite injectors to look at and determine if its even worth the journey or the attempt at the revive. |

You're more than welcome to do so, Cfurr Kold.
I play primarily during the late-night and overnight hours, North America time, but the rest of BHD plays primarily during the evening hours, North America time (generally between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. EDT). FWIW, though, I am the official recruiting officer for BHD in Dust 514, and the more folks we get who like our style of play, the better.
Starhawk is another place where you can find quite a few BHD, along with MAG (there were times we'd run 40 to 50 deep at once during the bigger matches).
Anyway, drop me a line if you want to follow up, Cfurr Kold.
