Update: There is fix planned for this, the idea is that there will be a cap on total rewards that can be earned per match.

Does this apply only to people who are damaging and repairing stuff in the back of the base for point, or to everyone?

If I shoot 25 people in the face and and dont die, next to a defend order, I SHOULD GET ALL OF THE SP.

WE SHOULDNT BE PUNISHED WITH A SP CAP BECAUSE SOME TALENTLESS LOSERS CANT BE BOTHERED TO LEARN HOW TO AIM.

... Why not, exactly? I think it's a pretty practical idea - gives some balance so that you'll never advance faster than me just because you've got nothing to do throughout the day..

We all sort of agree that there has to be a better way so how about a discussion on what that better solution is.

Shut the **** up for god sake, you've no idea what the SP cap is, it could be 50k sp which is not easy to get unless you go 25/0 every match, it could be 100k SP which is a lot less than the farmers are getting at the moment and you'd never get that in a drop suit.

I goto school and volunteer, so STFU. I play Dust max 2-3 hours a day when I have time.

You know, if you spent half as much time practicing your aim as you do trolling here, maybe you'd get more SP.

No, idiot, I'm saying that this game shouldn't be -JUST- about racking up SP at the end of a match. If the maximum per day is 100,000 sp or whatever it wouldn't matter if you were going 20-1 or 5-9, it would just affect the length of time you spent attaining that end.

Maybe if you actually sat down and played Eve Online (yanno, the game this is connecting too) you'd see how balanced the SP system is. It's based specifically on time and the only people who are more powerful than you are the people who have been playing longer than you have - not the people who have more time to play because they have less obligations.

Try not to blow a freaggin gasket because you can't just power-grind your way to high kingdom and be the best of the best because you feel entitled to having more rewards than anyone else.

It's not trolling it's a valid opinion. Aim has nothing to do with SP - by the way - being as team-work based actions net in FAR more SP than mindless killing.

I work with a talented group of individuals. Not wanting to be punished for playing well is a valid opinion as well. The problem is here YOU feel entitled to points without doing the work to attain them. If I work harder, and play better, I should get more points than you and not be limited by soem artificial cap, which does NOTHING to solve the issue at had.

As long as the cap only applies to the a specific game and a specific action IE: Repairing then i guess its on ok fix, not the best. I as a normal logi pilot should never be affected because the amount of repping that i do, and i do rep alot, should be a small fraction of what someone who is farming gets.

O and the WARRIORS are the biggest failures of any group i've seen play this game. Was playing against them 3 games last night and each one they sat back and repped a drop ship causing their team to red line and be slaughtered. Complete newbs who know they are no where near good at this game so they require being hand fed sp.

I kind of like the idea. It'll limit players on a purely SP hunt. If you can never get more than a certain amount of SP than it makes more sense to work together as a team and make sure everyone has a chance at max SP. It'll be something that will promote teamwork to further the greater good of the squad. I know that there are players that will easily get the max but its better for the whole player base and the game play itself.

Name of my corp doesn't matter. We only recruit handpicked pros, that's why you don't see us advertising here to troll in a ton of noobs and spies. Just know that you are on the list to get stomped if you continue to run your mouth by insulting people who have a different opinion.

Seriously, you guys go on about skill so much in this game that you're unwilling to accept basic factual mathematics.

You have 100 people, I have 1000 people. Sure, you might have more skill, but all I have to do is just tell my guys to run militia gear so we never lose anything and let you burn yourselves out - constantly sending in a fresh batch of troops every time. Day and night, day and night, European players, American Players, Aussie Players - it doesn't matter, it's a fresh wave -every single time-.

Why do you think nations fall in Eve Online? It's not because they were bested by "skill" it's because they were simply outnumbered by a larger portion of players who attacked on their down time. All I have to do is figure out when each and every one of you goes to work/sleep and boom - you've just lost everything because I conveniently have more contacts than you have people in your freshman year book.

Then there's inside jobs where I just toss one of your less loyal directors a billion isk to close the corporation down and then you're spending the next few days trying to figure out what the hell happened.

I could hire mercenaries to completely decimate you whenever my guys get burnt out on constantly harassing your "pros" and sip on a freaggin bottle of jack while they send me battle reports of how much damage they're causing you.

I regularly make more than 50k when just shooting people in the face, dropping nano hives and fixing armor for people.
