Does this apply only to people who are damaging and repairing stuff in the back of the base for point, or to everyone? If I shoot 25 people in the face and and dont die, next to a defend order, I SHOULD GET ALL OF THE SP. WE SHOULDNT BE PUNISHED WITH A SP CAP BECAUSE SOME TALENTLESS LOSERS CANT BE BOTHERED TO LEARN HOW TO AIM.
... Why not, exactly? I think it's a pretty practical idea - gives some balance so that you'll never advance faster than me just because you've got nothing to do throughout the day.. |

I think it's a pretty practical idea - gives some balance so that you'll never advance faster than me just because you've got nothing to do throughout the day.. I goto school and volunteer, so STFU. I play Dust max 2-3 hours a day when I have time.
Awwwhhhh - I'm sorry to hear that it angers you so much, but seriously I'm not going to... haha... STFU just because you told me to do so.
I play Dust from anywhere between three and five hours a night - and you know what happens every time? I get 70-80k sp the first match, 'bout 50k the next, 20-30 the next two matches and then suddenly I'm barely able to clear 5k with a high KDR and earning my squad multiple orbital bombardments.
There's already diminishing returns - a cap would just save you 'x' amount of 5k SP games of you doing your optimum. Quit whining and do something else with the time, damn. |

Sorry you work 12 hour day shift and have no time for DUST, but it sounds like a personal question
I don't - actually. I have plenty of time to play Dust, but I also play Eve Online and know that no-one ever makes more SP because they have more time on their hands. Sure, you can get implants and increase your skill point accumulation but it's not without boundaries that no other player has access to outside of the game. |

Yes - everything is about you. You're being punished because someone else is doing something that wasn't intended within the game mechanics so they're going to change the system JUST TO ANGER LITTLE OLD PARAN.
Nah, brah, get your ego straightened out. It's not punishment - its' freaggin balance. Get your head out of the sand. |

It is because of people like you that is game is so F^ LOL so your saying people go 5-9, should get the same SP as someone who goes 20-1 ??
No, idiot, I'm saying that this game shouldn't be -JUST- about racking up SP at the end of a match. If the maximum per day is 100,000 sp or whatever it wouldn't matter if you were going 20-1 or 5-9, it would just affect the length of time you spent attaining that end.
Maybe if you actually sat down and played Eve Online (yanno, the game this is connecting too) you'd see how balanced the SP system is. It's based specifically on time and the only people who are more powerful than you are the people who have been playing longer than you have - not the people who have more time to play because they have less obligations.
Try not to blow a freaggin gasket because you can't just power-grind your way to high kingdom and be the best of the best because you feel entitled to having more rewards than anyone else. |

You know, if you spent half as much time practicing your aim as you do trolling here, maybe you'd get more SP.
It's not trolling it's a valid opinion. Aim has nothing to do with SP - by the way - being as team-work based actions net in FAR more SP than mindless killing.

Go get 'em lone wolf! I work with a talented group of individuals. Not wanting to be punished for playing well is a valid opinion as well. The problem is here YOU feel entitled to points without doing the work to attain them. If I work harder, and play better, I should get more points than you and not be limited by soem artificial cap, which does NOTHING to solve the issue at had.
Do tell me what "corporation" you 'work' with so that I can quash those laughable ambitions you have mate. I said nothing about earning more points because I'm - yanno - doing something OTHER than racking in kills. I said that a cap would bring balance and you're still whining about how it "punishment". Jesus christ, have you NEVER played an MMO before? |

Name of my corp doesn't matter. We only recruit handpicked pros, that's why you don't see us advertising here to troll in a ton of noobs and spies. Just know that you are on the list to get stomped if you continue to run your mouth by insulting people who have a different opinion. AWWWW YEEAAAAHH!!!! **** is going down in here! I know right?
Challenge accepted - but your issue is with me and not my corporation.
Look forward to seeing your "pros", mate. I've got just the thing for 'em... |

-Sigh- They're too busy hiding behind their words and baseline threats. Seriously, the minute this game goes live half of this forum is going to suddenly get a wake-up call that "evetards" are always going to ruin their day in some way, shape or form.
Why fight when I have enough ISK to buy every other corporation that has a recruitment thread on here? Why buy them out when I could just go down there and do it my damn self?
Or an even better question
Why not just do what I would do in Eve Online - join their corporation with a different character and just take it down from the inside?
EDIT:
To expand on my argument: All this jack about "handpicked pros" and "skill" is all a bunch of non-sense.
Seriously, you guys go on about skill so much in this game that you're unwilling to accept basic factual mathematics.
You have 100 people, I have 1000 people. Sure, you might have more skill, but all I have to do is just tell my guys to run militia gear so we never lose anything and let you burn yourselves out - constantly sending in a fresh batch of troops every time. Day and night, day and night, European players, American Players, Aussie Players - it doesn't matter, it's a fresh wave -every single time-.
Why do you think nations fall in Eve Online? It's not because they were bested by "skill" it's because they were simply outnumbered by a larger portion of players who attacked on their down time. All I have to do is figure out when each and every one of you goes to work/sleep and boom - you've just lost everything because I conveniently have more contacts than you have people in your freshman year book.
Then there's inside jobs where I just toss one of your less loyal directors a billion isk to close the corporation down and then you're spending the next few days trying to figure out what the hell happened.
I could hire mercenaries to completely decimate you whenever my guys get burnt out on constantly harassing your "pros" and sip on a freaggin bottle of jack while they send me battle reports of how much damage they're causing you. |

Ahh truely a wise man here. :) Because ya i bet you will be able to field all 1,000 guys on a 16vs16 match. Oh and surely your going to be able to destroy our assests as we sleep. That are in a station or a base that is impossible to explode. Yes totally going to be possible. I am sure you will figure out how to do it because your a genius. But gosh up your payment to 5 billion and send it to Sine DeusNomine in eve tonight and you will see how far that gets you on me closing down the corp. Have fun hiring corps and wasting your money trying to kill us because we will be having fun making iskies off from the guys you send at us. :) We allways love a good noob pawnage.
You're so naive it's actually become amusing. |
