Aside from DUST, I don't really game any more. Too rich for my blood, and nothing really holds my attention / entertains me like it used too. Bummer. |

FIFA 13. Probably the only one I will buy new because I will play it enough to make it worth the money.
I wish they would re-release Black for the PS3. One of my all time favorites. |

Only thing I care about this year. I mean look at it! Its a first person steampunk action game with very deep stealth elements, gives you total freedom to approach all situations with a variety of both violent and stealthy means. You get a variety of COOL POWERS! like stopping time, summoning a swarm of rats to eat your enemies, short range teleportation, jumping inside and possessing animals (including other humans, and enemies), wind blast. You can combine powers in crazy awesome ways, like summon a swarm of rats, put an explosive mine on one of the rats, possess the rat, and drive the rat to one of your enemies to kill them. Stopping time as someone fires his gun, possess the person, and make them walk in front of their own bullet. The world itself is so interesting: its like 1600s England, but with Whale oil powered electrical technology. Harvey Smith, the creator of Deus Ex is working on it. Viktor Antonov, the guy who designed city 17 from Half Life 2 is doing the art. So much awesomeness in one game.
its such a shame that such an innovative and interesting game gets so little attention compared to just existing franchises being milked, and generic copouts (military shooters + zombie games).
For next year....
DmC: Devil May cry. Beautiful colorful shifting living demonic world, awesome DMC combat.
There is a long list of others I am considering, but these two are the only must buys. |

Getting Deus Ex: HR in the mail within a few days. I have yet beat Dark Souls so I'll be getting back to that shortly.
Holding off on BL2 as I know there will be a DLC bundle in the future. Also looking forward to AC3 and The Last of Us. |
