So I'm an X360 Fanboy trying to get a similar controller experience for Dust and having a bit of trouble. I'm curious if anyone plays with a MadCatz MLG Pro Circuit PS3 Controller?
I first picked up the XCM Cross Battle Adapter that works amazing for all other PS3 games (allows me to plug in my wireless X360 controller for PC on my PS3), but isn't supported by Dust. Currently walking around just jerks and it's almost as if it's movement signal is actively killed by the Dust logic.
I currently play with a Power A Air Flo Controller that is "ok" but has slight deadzones and the analogue sticks don't have the best movement resistance for my taste.
Thanks in advance! |

I bought it twice and I would not recommend it. The analog sticks are way to stiff compared to the DS3 and that became a big issue for me in DUST. Another problem I had with it was with the moving parts, I moved everything to be exactly like a xbox 360 controller. Within 2 weeks the controller started to bug out on me and stared to push right on the D pad all by itself. I switched some parts around and the problem continued. I grew tired of it so I returned it and ordered another one. The moment I got home I did the same exact thing within an hour. I fired up another game and I did the same in other games. So I just took it back. I was a great idea and I wanted it to work so much. Not everybody is willing to buy a controller for 100 bucks but I really wanted to have a xbox controller.
Don't buy it, it doesn't play well with dust and its hardware is not good. Just try to get used to the PS3 controller, DUST is not meant for a xbox controller unless it has the DS3 analog motors.

LOL, nice find!
Yes, I guess my hands just aren't made for the tiny PS3 controller. My PS3 is actually my wife's that she had before we got married, so Dust is really the only game I play on it.
@Jimbeazy - I'm sorry you had so much trouble with the controller itself, I'm curious did it work with Dust? For instance, does it play? My XCM Adapter with my X360 controller wouldn't allow me to run or look around, it just would move briefly and then stop and then stutter as if it were being stopped on the software side of things. I'm assuming CCP has an anti-turbo functionality in place.

Yeah I had to get use to it too...I was also looking to the MLG controller really more so for the R1/R2 L1/L2 swap. It would be so bad if CCP made a button layout w/ that swapped those buttons. |

It played just fine but the analog sticks are way too stiff for me imo. By all means try them out if you like just make sure you have a good return policy. I recommend something like bestbuy because you can order it online and then take it into any store for a return. I bought them twice and both had the same problem |

Yeah, I was planning on Best Buy - did they just let you return it or did they give you store credit? Also, I'm curious does this have rumble? |

They gave me a full refund. There is no rumble feature. and there is one more cool feature on the controller itself, if you hold the start and select button on the controller it will swat the trigger buttons. |
