I too have noticed a increasing trend... I see an ever increasing trend in whiners, and people just complaining about any and everything they can possibly complain about. Herp-a-derp! Honestly it will never stop. People suck. Seriously though people calling everything a "nerf" only proves that those people obviously do not know what they what are talking about, or that they even know what that word means. How you "nerf" something in a [beta] is beyond me. I guess that is a new one on me. Especially since nothing is set in stone, or what it will be by the final product. Atleast the complaining is worth a decent laugh. I find it sad though. Some of you need to learn though.

The one thing people need to understand first and foremost is that right now we do not have probably even half of the gear, equipment, and everything in between at our disposal. Meaning that everytime they introduce something "new" they need to constantly go back and tweek, and review every item currently implemented and then decide if needs changing for the time being. Tanks for instant. We do not even have half of everything we need to combat them, and it showed in-game. The game(s) were heavily lopsided, and unbalanced. Thus for the time being till we (infantrymen) get more proper anti-vehicle equipment they have seen a rebalance at the moment. Increasing the amount of initial ISK proved not enough, but it proved it was the right direction to take. Again it's all about balance -- infact checks & balances. Even in EVE CCP is constantly having to go back and rebalance items come every expansion. They are doing it now even. It's something you will just have to get used to in an games such as these. Right now though CCP has a good opurtunity. We're in closed testing and can balance everything properly before final product and release. Does this mean it will be the end of balancing? Nope. Just that we'll see less of it over time. I garuntee when we get more of our proper anti-vehicle equipment we'll see a rebalancing in both tanks, and other items.
Fretting over this sort of stuff is just childish. If you wanted to be proper what you need to do is be rational, and logical. See what those effects have and properly outline them and document them in the correct sections. Screaming "nerf" and crying "nerf" at every turn is pathetic. |

Again. Calling them "nerfs" is wrong. Especially where we stand currently in the games life span. What I can tell you is that by release almost everything will have seen some form of tweeking or rebalancing. I could almost garuntee that tanks will be different still by release. Adjustments are necessary at the moment. Especially with more and more items, and mechanics being introduced to us the players and the game itself. Including more bugs, glitches, and hang-ups. |
