Nerf, nerf, nerf. Everything should be nerfed.
The problem is, everyone wants the weapon they're going to use at launch to be the most powerful. Take Vermaak Doe for example. Is he playing a sniper and suggesting it gets nerfed out of the goodness of his heart? Is he a sniper that would rather have more of a challenge come launch? Does he believe he has too much of an advantage with a sniper rifle? Of course not.
He believes OTHER people have too much of an advantage with the sniper rifle, so he's playing with one and then coming on the boards to cry for a nerf. Why? Because when the game launches, he'll have his amazing AR that can shoot as far as a sniper and hit as hard. And then he'll be king. Because every other weapon or way of playing that is contrary to how he plays will be useless.
All he does is come on the boards and try to influence CCP so he'll have the advantage when the battles actually mean something. He's not stupid.
And guess what, we all do it. I do it. We all want our weapons to be the best. It's human nature. And on these boards, we see some of the worst of it.
I just hope CCP can see through it like the rest of us can. Their track record isn't great when it comes to that stuff... |

Tomorrow see me actually play a match before trying to assess what i use most often and you will find my ar isn't at advanced and is now lower than my sniper skills, what i usr is the swarm launcher and forge so i will prove it by using a advanced forge Also thanks for the compliment and i do like the.shape av is now tbh
OK.... So you're trying to influence CCP so you'll never get sniped while you use your forge gun or swarm launcher. The argument remains the same. So... yeah.... |

Lol. Almost didn't see the best part of your post. You like how AV is now, because, as you said, you use the forge and swarm. Of course you like where AV is. Tanks just got nerfed. Haha. You are funny, dude.
And you're welcome for the compliment. You're a smart man. Smart man, indeed. |

Hold on there. You don't think you should be killed by a militia or standard rifle if you're in an advanced scout suit? Really?
The scout suit, advanced or otherwise, has less armor/shields than any other class. If you're not supposed to be killed with a militia rifle, then what's the point of having militia stuff?
New players will be coming in all the time, and they should be able to have fun and get some kills using militia stuff. You are a smart man, but that my friend is a terrible argument. |

The militia should require multiple shots (headshot or not) to kill something none militia
OK, so you agree with me about the scout. We're making progress here.
On to the heavy. You CAN'T headshot heavies. Can not do it. I've hit heavies with my charge and it hasn't even taken all their shields. I think you should be able to one shot everyone, but CCP sees it differently. No one can one shot advanced heavies with any type of sniper rifle. Sorry. Calling BS on that one too. |

Idk what level suit but it's a bad sign when the heavy armour dies to one shot
If you've killed a heavy with one shot, the heavy's shields/armor was already low. Look at the numbers. It doesn't add up. Plus the fact that I've never killed a full health heavy with one shot. Can't be done. |

Not nearly enough to kill a full health heavy. Do we even know what the headshot modifier is? All I know is that I've scoped heavies, had my charge, blasted them in the head, and they walked away. Every. Single. Time. |

First of all, there's no way it's 500%. No freaking way. The charge, at full spec sans a damage modifier, is 362 (with all your skills leveled 100%). Throw on a damage modifier, and you get to the 400's. I was leveled all the way in everything and shot a heavy in the head, and he did not die.
I've heard it's 2x or 3x, but the point is we don't know. You shot a heavy that was already low on health. |

OK, well you're the first person I've heard of doing it. I've never done it. Even with the charge, it takes a few shots to down a heavy. If you're going body shots, it can take 4 or 5 at least. |

Maybe. Don't know. All I know is that I've tried many times, and I've never been able to do it. Props to you if you could, but it seems strange given the numbers and my experience. |
