I kinda figured since installations are non mobile defensive emplacements, they're kinda supposed to be freakishly strong. Besides, 3-4 shots from a Standard tank railgun will destroy any weapon emplacement...they're easy to deal with as long as you don't go charging at them like an idiot. |

I had a shotgun, he had a proto sniper rifle, clearly the sniper is OP

You're complaining you were getting your ass kicked by someone in a defensive emplacement that YOU drove over to. If you have a blaster and can't retaliate against a long range emplacement, don't go near any defensive emplacements. The whole point of the emplacements is to keep enemy infantry and tanks, like you, away from their hard spawn point....clearly working as intended, you're just butthurt because you can't bumrush their spawn with a blaster. |

Thank you for actually understanding. People are freaking out thinking the current values are final...which is just pathetically stupid considering in the official announcement Wolfman says "THESE FIXES ARE NOT FINAL"
Plus passive skill bonuses and pilot suits are on the way, which will buff tanks up quite a bit. But you know how the internet is, always the knee jerk outrage and then the thinking comes later, if ever. |

Snipers don't bother me so much, they're just have a really nice map to play on (The spire map, whatever its called). As long as you keep moving snipers are really not an issue unless perhaps you're a heavy...but even then you should really never be way out in the open and on foot. If anything I'm more irritated with snipers when I join an ambush game where its about evenly matched, and then someone flies a dropship to the Plateaus tower, and literally NINE snipers are hanging out up there. *facepalm* |
