it seems that anything that cost alot of isk is now being made to die to starter gear so i say i want to be able to kill proto dropsuits with starter ar's so plz ccp help me one shot a proto suit plz....... |

You already can kill proto gear with starter gear. If you can't then you are doing it wrong |

He is Being sarcastic and secretly crying. Hmmm... Figured out that proto dropsuits don't make you invincible, just give you more customizability? Remember when proto dropsuits were impossible to kill with militia? Yeah.. That was fun. |

yep you can the VK suits have less HP then the type II suits, they can pack on better guns thats about it, and if you do kill one you get an awesome increase in isk reward at the end of the match :D |

Yeah, some people have good luck with them, some don't. I always find that they don't detonate when I need them most though, just like grenades. They're quite good when they do work though. |

The splash damage is a nightmare for scouts, trust me. Heavies with mass drivers would be so scary if they had more ammo / heavies could carry a nano hive. As it stands, heavies with MDs are laughable >_< |

u cant kill a tank in 1 or 2 hits and the dropsuit nerf made gear matter less so its not demi god advantage anymore for proto gear but slight one |

I would REALLY love to see type 2 advanced and maybe even proto assault suits. If I could get an advanced suit with an extra mid, I would go with my typical two shield extenders.... but also put a 10 % damage mod to give myself a nice edge. And for proto assuming it also had more lows, maybe a shield regen time mod or so?
As it stands being armor SUCKS since the regen even from top tier mods is a quarter of what you can get naturally from shields. |
