The first thing that needs to be understood regarding how much SP you earn per battle is that it is determined by what you do in a battle. Killing people, completing objectives, and anything else that gives you a "+anything on ur screen" will result in sp gain.
I haven't bothered to figure out what each activity results in as far as skill points but the multiplier is a simple concept... here goes:
Each day at a specific time (7:00Central USA), the server resets a multiplier on what you accomplish in a match.
1: The multiplier only takes affect if you finish a game. (Seeing the rewards screen and kill board) -If you do not complete a game, aka leaving it, you DO NOT WAIST the multiplier on that game. *This means if you normally get 30 kills a game and your first game of the day (of the reset) you get four kills... leave.
2. I haven't counted it yet, but I believe that the multiplier is set to something along these lines... -Your first game has a X5 multiplier on what skill points you earned that game. -Your 2nd and 3rd game have a X4 multiplier on what skill points you earned that game. -Your 4th, 5th, and 6th, games have a X3 multiplier. -7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th have a X2 multiplier. -Every game after the 10th game will have a multiplier of 1.
EX: If I get 10 kills and complete nothing else be it revives objectives etc...my 11th, 17th, and 53rd game of the day will result the same SP. -If this was my first game of the reset however, that same game will yield 5 Times the Skill Points.

I would guess that the multiplier is there as a way for players who play less to have a fighting chance to keep up with the people farming out 1million skill points per day. If a player consistently killed 30 or so people and did nothing else per game, it comes out to around 20k SP before the multiplier.
After consistently hitting that mark, a player could receive... (5+4+4+3+3+3+2+2+2+2) * 20,000 = 30 * 20,000 = 600,000 SP
Where as the next 10 games would yield... (1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1) * 20,000 = 10 * 20,000 = 200,000 SP
And so on.... |
