Title pretty much says it all, I think it would be quite useful to be aware of our weapon's range, it makes no sense to hide it and it would make us that much more efficient on the field. |

seconded, it doesn't need to be on the HUD, but perhaps put it in as a stat in the market? |

yea was thinking the same thing today when comparing stat's of two guns on the market, one which said it had a longer range in the description, but had no numbers to back up its claims.
was thinking there would be a fall off stat or something, but nope..... |

Would be nice to know the range comparison between a pistol and a a shotgun for example. |

Agreed 100%, have many times wondered this myself, for instance with the tactical assault rifle and it's range vs the other assault rifles. |

not sure if this helps but in game when you look through your sight if the dot turns red there in range if its stays white there out of range look at the range finder numbers that come up maybe you can get a general idea of your weapons range |

+1.
We can see Optimal Range and Accuracy Falloff in Eve Online. I'm not opposed to this. |

Not always the case, but speaking of range finder numbers, it would also be nice to have a readout of range pop up on what your reticle is on for sniper rifles. We have this tech presently in real life to make long range shots possible, I don't see why it couldn't be implemented in game when scoped with a sniper rifle. It would certainly make calculating the lead for your shot easier. |

Perhpas they can put the weapon's actual range as a transparent overlay on the minimap. Kind of like they way it is on the tactical map in EVE.
It would also be nice to know the weapon's range as a stat in the market/asset details. |
