I am an American Citizen. Do I hate this country? No I do not. I have never, and never will, hate the United States of America. I simply do not agree with the governmental status of the United States. I do not agree with the killing of innocent people, but the latest attacks on our great country, have gone far enough. Those with twisted and depraved minds stand against us in numbers and wish to bring down destruction on our great flag. I do not hate Islam, nor do I hate Muslims, but I do hate Islamic Extremists. I do not agree with the open attack on Islam through the media, but I do not justify the killing of an innocent and loving American Ambassador to Libya. I love other countries, cultures, religions, and people. I do not accuse them of being 3rd world countries when they are not, they are strong and smart people. As i recal, India ( the worlds largest Democracy. ) is going to Mars next year. A great achievement for a great country. I am pro-american, pro-guns, pro-freedom, pro-democracy, and pro-science. I do not hate people, nor any countries. But I shall, as shall those who stand against the killing of our citizens, ask to bring justice and terror upon those who wish to bring terror to the grounds of our nation. Military power is relevent in our society, and we shall use it to our own purpose and disposal. Down with the Islamic Militant Regimes, and rise to the Democracy of Libya. May we put an end to the fanatical religious movements that have plaqued the civilization of our beautiful world. May we show these people, that power shall overcome the destructive and twisted minds of their religious opinions. America is not doing great in economy, education, or infrastructure, but our country has been the leader of Science, Military, and Security to our world. Truly, and i mean truly, I believe, that through justice and faith in our fellow man, that America will get better. Your ferver is admirable, and loyalty a true asset. Unfortunately we don't live in a true democracy, or even capitalist society.
Our society isn't pro-science, and increasingly not "anti-gun" but pro-"stripping individuals of rights in exchange for promises of safety". Pro-america right now is supporting a mostly ruined government, in a bad system, with bad leaders, attached to a bad bank, and listening to bad financial information.
Fortunately "saving" or fixing America is a simple task for anyone who cares. Educate others, and look to be educated yourself.

Sean Smith is his name. His EvE name was Vile Rat.
From what I understand he was very influential in EvE. He sat on the Council of Stellar Management which is EvE onlines player elected board. Not to mention his day job serving America in some of the most hostile places on Earth.

i know a few people in eve way more nice than this guy that have passed away,. no reason to make a big deal out of it
most of these people just like kissing arse, he was some guy that got shot and burned in a fire that played eve no big deal and CCP should not do anythign special for him unless they want to go over and do the same for every other eve player that has eve passed away, the guy was a jerk in game and the excuse that it was his ingame persona is bull, he went out of his way several times to personally attack people when they left or got kicked out of the alliance.
and yeah i give the guy props for serving but other than that its old news already everyone needs to stop brown nosing and get over it. |

Why would you say that? Did you speak to and deal with VR yourself or are you going on the typical "lolgoon" bandwaggon?
I'm a goon, i knew VR and i know what you're saying is BS. There's a lot of people who do troll and cause trouble but VR was not one of them. He was one of the most chill and laid back people i've ever known, he always made time for anyone that spoke to him, random pubbie, newbee or goon, it didn't matter.
Thats the reason people are making a big deal out of it, he was a great guy in and out of game. Don't throw **** around unless you're gonna back it up with cold, hard, facts. |

Anybody that dies will be missed, it so happens that Vile Rat was a well known EVE player that has shaped its political landscape for years. It does not mean that people do not mourn the loss of other people however they died be it in a countries service or otherwise.

This loss does relate to Eve and Dust. Vile Rat was a very involved part of Eve and had a direct influence on what Eve is today. As Dust integrates into Eve and the upcoming (ingame) political intermingling of corps and alliances, his influence would have been present in Dust assuming the groundwork has not already been put in motion.
I can't fault anyone for their ignorance, but I can for trashing up a memorial thread to anyone, influential or not. Duly noted though, I'll make note not to care if one day you weren't here.
