Well, Planet side 2 can be run on a medium end PC fairly well, so if the PS4 handles it, then I don't see why not. Maybe even 2000 v 2000 |

So, by definition, any group of players who group up and roll in a larger group than 2 are zerging as long as the game mode is equivalently sized...
lol who cares about zerging. Zerging is fun. Not to say its the end all tactics, but I like large pitched battles. Imagine 500 HAVs attacking each other 0.0
Or 500 heavies... Or 1000 anythings...

I have a serious question...
would that be fun? no, seriously, would it? I mean it's impressive, and amazing and I react with "OMG YES SO MANY PLAYERS!" but when I sit down and think objectively...
Would it be fun to be one of the guys in the trenches for hours? I mean, would it? Or having to drive 20 minutes to get to the battle like in real life? I'm just not sure. |

Well, the obvious fix would be to establish leadership, form squads, etc. When you dedicate squads to different roles, the game becomes similar to an RTS. It's all about strategy in that kind of thing. |

Yes, nobody knows how to coordinate 1000 troops, that is why real life armies are smaller...oh wait.
squad leader...platoon leader...company commander...battalion commander in mcc
Some will lone wolf, and their teams will be slaughtered by the ones that maintain chain of command. We may need the 50km by 50km map dev mentioned could be done, they said it was to big but with 1000 per team there would be whole drop ship squadrons with fighter escorts. |

(especially if it is a spontaneous event, like the K-6 curbstomp of -A- a month ago). If CCP is forewarned about a major engagement, they can load that system on a much more powerful machine, but battles rarely are that predictable. |
