The system being used to randomly spawn is terrible. Not only do I get spawned next to an enemy half the time, but i'm facing the opposite direction of said enemy and even the objectives. They're all behind me. I know it's random but it's not logical or even fair sometimes. Kind of frustrating actually. I think it should be changed to spawn you in a random spot still, just sure enough away from enemies and facing the appropriate direction |

Spawn points have to be looked at.. First location of spawn.. should be behind imaginary front line.. ie if you capture a location, then the front would move ahead and you can spawn in that area.. As well spawn camping will need to be address.. if team 1 is losing badly and forced back into starting spawn area, there should be no way team 2 can spawn and camp inside team 1 spawn area.. exception to the main rule would be aircraft .. you can drop from it when it flies over any location on map except staring enemy spawn area... second fix facing bug has you spawning in wrong facing direction to main front line.. |

Agreed. Spawning behind an imaginary line and moving up as locations are captured sounds like a great idea. The one game that comes to mind of CoD. Their spawn system is fantastic. You don't have to worry about dying in 3 seconds flat every time you spawn. Spawn camping will be an issue too. Say if team 1 gets forced back to their starting area, have them spawn on the opposite side of the battlefield? |

Why are you choosing to spawn in an area where the enemy is present? True, you may get a suprise kill or two, but more often than not you're going to get mowed down. When you capture an objective, it becomes a spawn point. And the enemy can't spawn in your default spawn location because, to them, it's an 'unsafe area'. They can't even set drop uplinks because they self-destruct in the red zones. |

Personally, I think ambush should use the same beginning spawns as skirmish, as clearly the random spawning system is too random. |

Well for example, the enemy team had captured A,B, and D. All we had were C and "home base" i guess you could call it. A lot of them (the baddies) were coming to get C. I didn't want to spawn all the way back at home and make my way back to C cause it'd take for freakin ever. I had no idea drop uplinks self destruct in red zones. Learn something new every day haha |

I might just be playing devil's advocate right now. I look at random spawn points as we're getting dropped in from inner space. I think it's challenging forcing the team to work together and find each other. You should be strong enough to wade through the first random spawning enemies and make it to an ally. Two guns are much more effective then one. I think for certain situations the set spawn location is a good idea. For now I like it, it's a bit suspenseful, whose going to be waiting around that corner? Ooo |

Learn something new every day haha Honestly, this sounds like a case of poor strategy, not broken game mechanics. You need to set drop uplinks of your own. If there's too many people at C, then spawn elsewhere and hack one of their CRUs, or a different objective. They can't be everywhere at once. |

I too would say that this is the biggest concern I have with this game. The problem exists on some maps, though not all. It's when you play the team death matches (abmush?) on small maps that it gets really annoying. You could pop up basicly anywhere, and most right in the middle of a fight or next to the enemy team. So while I'm wondering where on the map i spawned, someone is making a swiss cheeze out of me.
This can be very disheartening and downright dull. It is these kind of things that I dare say scare new people away from this game and universe, something we don't need at all! |

Other day I spawned 3 times in a row next to an enemy tank. Could not get to a safe distance before being blown up. This was in the TDM mode so no set spawn points...
Didnt help it was one of the small maps with 3 enemy tanks on... Couldnt spawn anywhere safe, until I spawned inside an enemy players arse... Atleast I could get a kill then. |

Its frustrating spawning right in someone sights when you have to pay for every gun/suit/module. One match I died three times before I had enough time to even do anything. |

The best spawn system for an objective based game I have ever come across was Section 8: Prejudice.
I think Dust would be perfect for such a system. |

I really like the drop pod system from star hawk. Especially the ability to change their flight (a little) as they descend. We are in "dropsuits" so let us "drop"! |

Yes, Starhwk has a great system too. Very similar to Section 8. |
