I really like Logistics. I've played it quite a bit.
For anyone thinking about giving it a try, one good thing to remember is that your weapon is still a greater priority than your equipment. Never go full support. I made that mistake my first few days playing. It was a bad time. |

Finally people who understand me!!!! It seems like people always run out in the middle of a cross fire then expect to be healed but if there are no enemy around they cant wait for a second to be revived. Thats mainly the reason I can't revive people they are often in the worst place to be or they don't wait long enough to be revive.
WE LOGIS MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I remember a match I had where I was the only logi on my team, but the other team had about two or three. No matter how many of them we kill ,no matter how many of my teammates I saved (wasn't a lot because kept re-spawning instead of letting me revive) it seemed like the other team couldn't stop massacring us. And every time they got close you could hear the beeping of nanite Injectors. The more we killed the more beeping we heard. I couldn't revive nearly as fast as the other logis.
We lost that match by 40 or 60 clones. And I think it was purely because of the logis.
we should form a logi corp or at least have each other in our contacts or something so we can find each other. |

The thing is like %60 of people will bleed out, %50 of that is mid animation from pressing O |

I don't use logi because I'm used to the speed of the scouts so my medic is a shotgun scout with nanite injectors and a repair tool. Really handy in the Biomass and Communications map and also when under siege around a supply depot. Plus I can make it really fast to someone's side so they're less likely to suicide out of impatience. |

I don't technically play logistics but I usually play a assault with a medstick and then usually a tank but at least when I don't feel like being a tank i can revive people XD and i go out of my way to do so because I also have a shotgun and get a few kills when I do so. |

I've been playing pretty much exclusively as Logistics since I joined two days ago. It was the only loadout where I felt like I was really helping.
The only complaint I have is how cumbersome it feels when I switch to the injector. |

I see other logistics guys pretty often. Earlier today, I was actually running around with another one- we each revived eachother at least once until a tank blew us up. |

kas croixe wrote:almost without fail, I seem to be the only person playing logistics(with the nano injectors, also pack a repair tool/ammo packs, it changes between my custom and the starter pack one) on any team I get placed on. I thought medics were a good thing? I get relatively the same armament as any other soldier(assault rifle personally, may switch it up to a shotgun since I seems to find lots of close range engagements) decent shielding, decent health, and that whole "making you not die" thing to boot, so why don't more people play logistics?
No bro you're not the only one, I play logi too. I have several different logi suits with various loadouts. |

Right now it's clunky to switch to the injector in combat and hard to spot people down. CCP WHY U NO ADD GIANT "+" SYMBOL!?
Also when you're down you can't see if there's a medic around on the map. |

LogiBro forever!
Battle Support is critical. One of the best things a Logi/Med can do is level up your nanite injectors to fully rez your team mates and get your NanoHives to rep armour... but only if your in a team with comms - don't use it for randoms.
On top of that the proto has 4 high and 4 low. You are the only suit that could max out damage with modules and put biotics on the lows to sprint like the devil. Or shield up or armor up and become the walking tank repper... so many possibilities.
But, very skill heavy and module centric |

call me dumb but I have only been playing a day and I can't for the life of me figure out revives. I tried everything I could think of, I think it is because people bleed out, but it is hard to tell, a marker on the hud would be nice to show who needs help, and who already bled out. |

There IS a marker on the hud, its the needle icon. any downed mercs who don't have that icon either pressed respawn or they are the enemy |

When you're down there is a message at the top of the screen that informs you if there's someone with an injector nearby. If there's no message then there's no one near who can revive you. |

All I play is logi. Ive had to switch to the default logi so I could save up some ISK because it's expensive to play the role.. Ive run clear across the map to try and revive a guy only to have them respawn right when I get there. Ive noticed that since I'm one of the few that uses a mic, when I switch to team chat and yell at them that I can't revive them if they respawn they actually wait a bit longer |

It seems that there are far less Logistics than there were a few weekends ago,and that's even before the new influx of players. |

Is this thread serious? Every game I play I find a disturbingly high number of Logi's, to the point where there is more than one per every other dropsuit on the field, which is ridiculous, considering it makes me have to compete with other Logi's to resupply, revive, or repair other people. |

see I have never seen that marker before... figures all the games I enter everyone bleeds out the second they die.... |
