I have a weapon I can't use. The prerequisites are: -Sniper Rifle Efficiency Level I -Sniper Rifle Operation Level V
How do you obtain these? Are they items you buy? Or something like 'service stars' as seen on Battlefield games? |

There are prerequisite skills for a lot of the higher end equipment, drop suits, and weapons. You are probably trying to use a prototype level rifle.
A word of advice though, be sure to really think about what skills you want to buy, since earning skill points (or grinding them) can take some time, and especially if you are trying to work toward a certain item or type of role, you want to plot it out accordingly. Good luck! Cheers. |

Then you'll have to press R2 to see the skill books that you can buy to level up. Find the books you need, check the pre-requisites, then buy them, use them, and level them up using the SP you earn from playing. |

Go to the skills page (located under character sheet) and find the skills under the weapons section in the all skills area (not the default advalible skill). You will have to buy the Sniper skill book (just once) by clicking on the skill. After that it will be moved to Advalible skills and you can invest SP to level it up. Level one will be very cheap, but getting to level Five will take you about a week or regular play... |
