Yup, I'd love to jump out to place a drop uplink and a nanohive for our snipers, or to repair the ship if need be....no way in HELL though, thanks to free vehicles for all.
CCP, give us a freaking lock >_< |

I would try to get used to it, posting to much about what you hate people doing is to griefers as blood is to sharks. It's harsh, but it isn't backward. Even Eve has space stations and certain basic protections to keep the game playable. The game will be hurt, as an FPS, by having no vehicle locks or some way to protect your investment. It is by no means breaking with Eve's legendary harshness to have a damn key for your car. Sci-fi tech, and you can't slap a user lock on a huge investment? Oh yes, that's far more realistic... Deep breath man. I am sorry this happens to you really, but I doubt they will change it. It is an investment, it is on an active battlefield though. Realistic? I am not the one asking for a key fob door alarm/locker for my tank.
You're an idiot, hate to break it to you man.
This feature would only help gameplay. Betrayal is commonplace? It's not betrayal, it's idiocy. It's infant DUSTers going 'oooh shiny ride" not some insidious corp spy. If you want actual betrayal, coded locks are a MUST, because now those codes are valuable assets.
No, this isn't good gameplay, at all. Ask any vehicle driver if they enjoyed the last time they watched their 300,000-2 million ISK roll off into oblivion, see what they tell you |

I do not think you should lock it, but it comes with the risk of leaving your vehicle for anything. I mean what next really? Remove the ability to hack enemy vehicles? I'm just saying this is and should always be part of the game. We hate it when it happens, but it does happen. Ususally a couple of shots and a get the hell down here with my vehicle works. You could always TK the whelp as an example and then proceed to rip him a new one via mic, or messages. You'd think people would learn about this simple edicate, but it remains to elude some people for one reason or another. You just have to put up with it whenever you risk leaving your vehicle.
Lord did I hate it in Warhawk, but again it happens. You either deal with the issue in-game, or let it go though.
So you just leave your sports car running in the middle of the city when you have to get out?
Interesting. |
