Well this is a new one for me today amongst all the other bugs.
I have reset my ps3 five times now, when I try to connect to server I keep getting told '' Data file updates currently unavailable. Please try later. ''
Ahyone had this one ??? |

yes i keep on having the same issue, it will start to connect to ccp and when it says validting this message comes up thats says data files currently unavailable, then it sends me to the loading screen with the controls. Ive tried several times to login and i have restarted my ps3 several times,. |

Well at least it's two of us then, yup I have now restarted my ps3 5 or 6 times, still the same message. ?
EDIT. I have emailed their support but no reply as yet. |

I knew about the defrag and do this fairly regularly, say every week or two, but have not used no.4 on the list before. Not really sure I want to rebuild the entire database and lose years of saved info though, then have to reinstall hours and hours of stuff.  |

Just tried again Sansabar and still get the same msg. I emailed dust support 10 hrs ago, I'll let you know if I get a reply. For now I guess we'll see if it changes after todays downtime. Yup I'm pissed too mate and I have paid money into this '' beta '' .  |

sorry to hear that didn't help guys. what region are you guys in? make sure your ports are forwarded properly (or you can just place your PS3 in the DMZ): https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=27899&find=unread
if you're getting that error still it sounds like its unable to patch itself, making it sound like a network issue. your region and/or ports could be an issue? have either of you tried to completely delete all Dust data and then redownload again? (yes, this is a crappy option) deleting all Dust data off your station will not erase your character
edit: make sure to send your issue to CCP support at [email protected] include your PSN, in game name, your region and anything else you think may be helpful |

Well nothing after the downtime it was still the same. I have deleted dust from my ps3 and will try a re install.
I got a reply from CCP asking if it still wouldn't work after downtime, I will reply shortly.
I'll let you know if the re install worked.
EDIT..... I am in the EU . |

Well it worked. I had to delete it from my ps3 and then re download, update etc. it took about 3 1/2 hrs.
At least this will hopefully help others when it happens. Just hope I don't have to do it again, for a while anyway. |

I have the same problem. I didn't try the whole system defrag thing like you guys pointed out. But since you guys tried it and it made no difference, I will save myself the hassle. But the strange thing about this is my brother has his own account on the same system and his account has no trouble logging into Dust. But when I try to log into my own, I get the old 'data file updates are currently unavailable' message. But the problem seems to disappear on it's own the next day. Huh? |

I had the same Problem so I just Deleted the game And then re-downloaded it from the PlayStation store I also Deleted the Saved data utility, when it was downloaded I still had my Character When I went back on game, so give a try it might work for you. Hope that helps
