Alright I know alot of people are crying about tanks now but i have noticed something. For one y'all that are crying don't do nothin' have a AV fit it takes more than 2 AV guys to take down a good tank. Second when you see a guy trying to take out a tank cover him from ground troops because 90% of the time its not the tanks that kill me its the troops. ( for real cover guys going after tanks) another thing when your in maps with buildings you can go inside and there are tanks go inside and hold down the place they can't kill you if your not wide open that forces the ground troops to flush you out and if there is enough people in one spot they will not be able to do it and you will win. I have done this many times.
Off topic more stuff you should do
1. if you see a guy going for and ABCD or whatever go help him out and not chase some dude on other side of the map 2. if you have an Injector use them it pisses me off when a logi or a dude with one passes me bay there is no point in having one if you don't use it ( side not if the enemy is near don't revieve they will just kill him again adding yet another hit to the clones) 3. If you see a dropship in the air and your on the ground kill the guys with swarms there easy targets and cant defend them selves because all they got is either a pistol or smg you have range there toast. 4. Switch to team comms guys so we can work as a team! Don't got a mic get one! ( Press select above squad is team click on it and the press activate chat then you are on team comms) 5. place your drop uplinks somewhere hidden good if you don't do not blame me for spawn camping it!
If you don't do these tips you have no right to complain about anything!
Thank you so much |

Another good tip: If they have their repairer or boosteron it makes no sense to attack. Wait until the repaire has ended and needs to reload. Most of the times two AV grenades are enough. If they run away dont run after them. Jump onto the tank and take a ride or call in a LAV. |

I'm always a medic, that's the build I'm working for. It's a bit tricky trying to find the body too inject the nanites into the body. It just dawned on me today that the syringe on the map is not were your body is exactly. |

thats not always true I've seen and taken down tanks while they are using their repair or booster most the time i'm piloting a dropship but if the gunner keeps hitting him even a murader can't take on my dropship and I'm acturally starting to work on a AV fit for those pesky tanks dieing to them don't **** me off I just go dam and keep trying :P |

Don't listen to the D3lta guy, it's a moronic tip. When you want to fight a tank, attack it as much as possible, stopping while its booster is on, is just stupid. It's going to heal the same amount whether you fire at it or not. If they turn it on at full health, just wait because then it's pointless. But nobody that matters in a tank will do that.
The BEST, way to kill a tank, and the way that annoys me, while in a tank, is to get even the slightest hill in front of you. It makes it nearly impossible for the tank to hit you. If it's using a railgun or blaster, do some slight strafing. If it's a missile launcher do whatever you want because that thing won't hit you if there's a hill in front of your feet.
As for the nanite injector tip by OP. He's misinformed. IT DOES NOT, take away another ticket when someone is revived and killed, I don't even know where the hell he got that idea, because he didn't get it in-game. When someone is revived, the tickets do not go down. They stay as they were before he was killed. If you need a distraction, revive somebody mid-combat. it'll usually help with the kill. They might ***** at you, but they don't lose anything, and you don't lose anything. They also get a 2nd chance to live, so they are just being morons. |

But don't you think calling people names on the internet a little childish i bet if you seen me in real life you would think twice bro.
P.S. thanks for your tips you are right about that. but please stop calling people names it makes you look like a stuck up jerk bro this post is meant too help people be a better player. And make people realize what they should do to take out tanks. |

Here the same: you have unlimited ammo and a bit better position to attack.

Usually active tanked HAVs have a repper powerful enough to take them back to full shield or armor no matter how much one or two guys hit it while the rep is active. The HAV is essentially invulnerable during this period. The only exception is with armor tanks, because after the repairer is activated it takes about 3 seconds for the repairs to actually start. It isn't uncommon for the driver to wait a bit too long to activate an armor repairer due to inattention or lag, so putting a push on when you see an armor repair cycle can pay off if he's in low armor.
If he isn't low armor though, then you're much better off to wait until the repair cycle is finished and use that time to get into a better position / reload, and then hammer him when the cycle finishes. The repairer will be unavailable for 30 seconds or so. If you can put on a lot of damage during that period you can easily make a driver panic, and that's the prime time for mistakes to be made. Whether that's getting stuck on a rock or running for cover in a direction that isn't exactly optimal. This is even more true now that a good tank costs so much. |

dont get impatient and just rush a tank with your av guys. take the time to set up a strategy and set ambushes so the tank cant retreat and rep. if you just throw clones at him, you'll just end up with a bill and a rampaging tank. |

This is true, and honestly may deserve a thread of its own because if CCP could "tighten" the locator for revives that would be helpful. There are some clipping issues there as well, I have had more than one instance of needing to try 3-4 times before I can revive a body which visually is laying right in front of me. It's a pain to watch a guy despawn because your first 2-3 tries to revive him didn't work due to clipping et al.... let along getting shot because you had to hold still that long :(
Anyway tactics and team play ftw! :) |
