Leave the rest as is or some combos that include the reversed L/R buttons. The one layout that has them swapped also completely changes all the other stuff too and I don't want those changes.
I really just want a selection (not unlike the one on the 'Move' setup menu) to simply swap L1/2 & R1/2.
Who's next? Let's get 'em in here! |

Ultimately, I hope this is exactly what happens. Being a programmer, I know this isn't all that hard. Creating extra nanosecond latency is, however, risky on the control-response I'm sure. I'd love it if they were able to create usable base layouts for the masses and then let the custom layouts be created by those that wish to take the time. But if it causes too much lag on the client to make these translations, then so be it. I would like to believe the PS3/Unreal engine could handle this layer of abstraction though.
EDIT: I added this hoping that @CCP Wolfman see's it - mostly 'cause I'm curious about how they are doing it. :-) |
