All complex/prototype AUR items with reduced fittings seem to have disappeared. Anyone else notice this? |

so are they gone from our fits or just the market or both? Had a couple fits using them would need to be reworked now. Also kinda sux If I spent a few hundred AUR and didn't get to use them. Though we get our AUR back next wipe it's still a minor inconvenience. |

This. There were some legitimate concerns that if you spent enough Aurum on the items that reduced the CPU/PG usage, you could actually afford to have enough CPU/PG left over to either pick up a better version of some item or add another item entirely to a fit. |

The equipment may have been taken down so they can re-evaluate the stats on it. Possibly will come back after they feel it's been brought more in-line. Or. Mabye they're testing how people manage their ingame currency levels and the top Aurum items were messing this up somehow. Kind of like how they forced Ambush maps when everyone was going Skirmish cause they needed Ambush data. |

Not sure why they'd take them out. They weren't really "pay to win". The difference they made in your CPU/PG was minimal. It would only be enough to allow you to buy an upgrade on like one module. Perhaps going from a militia to a complex shield extender, or going from a militia armor repper to a complex repper.
Like I said, it only made enough of a difference to change like ONE module. Not game breaking. It'd only MARGINAL make a difference...at best.

I think it was worse with vehicles, but I'm not sure by how much since I don't spec into vehicles at all. Also, I'm pretty sure even in the case of dropsuits, if you had a full Aurum fit (with a good suit) with reduced CPU/PG fittings, you'd see more than just a marginal difference. |

Not at my PS3 at the moment. you are saying that all AUR items with dramatically reduced CPU/PG requirements have been removed?
VICTORY!
Those very items were the reason I called AUR items P2W. Without them, I can actually tolerate the rest of them, as they do give a little extra edge, but nothing major enough to deserve the P2W branding.

As an EVE player, I can attest that the near 50% reduction of PG/CPU requirements put those weapons firmly in the P2W bracket, as they allowed for a massive boost in other stats via better modules.
Some EVE players are willing to pay billions of ISK for an "Officer" or a Faction module which would deliver just 10-15% CPU/PG reduction. |

Good.
These items were something that could definitely shift the balance, since there were no ISK equivalents and were a drastic reduction in CPU/PG for the level.
Yes, I used some last build, but their benefit was so obvious that if you had the skills to use them you were silly not to. |
