It only costs around 138k to get a militia tank with a rail-gun, SP requirements aren't that bad either. Sure they are made of paper and av-builds can actually destroy them, but they can deal fair deal amount of damage to tanks while withstand couple of shot themselves (unlike prototype heavy drop-suit). The range is fairly good as well allowing you to bully / soften these top tier tanks from a distance. think of it as a extra weapon or a power-up you can buy. You can make a militia tank actually quite good. Just put some good modules on them and see the magic. Seriously the main difference between a militia and standard tank is only 1 module and a bit HP. Neverless the difference between a marauder and a standard tank is you might guess a bit more HP and another module slot and a bit increased CPU or PG. I bet i could fit on a militia tank 1 heavy armor rep, 1 small armor rep, low-mid armor plates and a PG upgrade. Maybe a damage controll unit aswell. |

Not a pro tank user but sounds pretty solid to me, inexpensive as well?
Butting few points to hybrid turrets to get better main rail-gun seems pretty good choice as well. Standard rail-guns do cost a bit more tough, but they are somewhat better than militia variants. Provides some inexpensive oomph for softening tanks up.
I have been thinking about the speed modules as well. While you are making yourself highly vulnerable against AV, it just might help soften up top-quality tanks from a distance by keeping that distance. Too bad I don't have a drivers license so I suck at driving, especially when driving blindly while aiming. |

May be an option to enter infantry only battles or full battles with armour may help for those who don't like tanks |

Most I'v seen was 7 on enemy team. They were too busy killing to capture null points so it just came down to a timer. Can they take out all our clones before our null cannons take out their mcc. They came close, but they lost. |

At this point, I can say it's a problem. But they might add something later on like calling-in a installation anywhere in a map to deal with this kind of guys. |
