Watch this space. Lets address not being able to get into every game, or finishing every game that we get into. Fix the basics first. I think match making (able to get into every game with a full squad of 4 or by your self) and completing every game is #1 YO
You're very right, those are the top priorities for us as well right now.
Regarding the list of questions, here's some answers:
ADS/Scope on the AR to be more traditional? Some shooters feel disorintated using a camera on a standoff weapon. Something we are aiming (get it) to work on ASAP.
Random Bullet Spread vs. kick vs. cadance, what is the thoery on creating weapon inaccuracy while firing in less ideal conditions? Any chances of tweaking them to be more reliable and predictable or better understood? We believe that a lot of the issues stem from hit detection. We have made what we hope is a large improvement to this and would like to test that first before making any further accuracy tweaks.
Better hip to scope transitions? Such as the character animated hosltering the weapon into shoulder fire position, most notable the AR, Sniper, Swarm Launcher Something weGÇÖll look at along with the ADS work
Forum presence? Forum goers are askng for more pesence or at least more adknowledgment thier threads are being read. Some of posters dont like using twitter to find out threads are being read. CCP CmdrWang has a good plan that he's working. He'll post on the forums later this week about it.
Heavy suits feel underutilized now, any insight in improvments since the HP normalization such as new slots? Other suits could be looked at to such as type II scout. Improvements to heavy weaponry should help here. WeGÇÖve been able to create very effective heavy fits but weGÇÖll continue to observe and see if anything needs tweaking.
Breach and Tactical ARs still heavily underused, Breach becuase of the overnerfed and tactical may be more attributed to hit detection. Any thoughts? Again we would like to observe the effects that hit detection improvements make first, particularly on the tactical.
Dynamic Recitels, are we going to get more (as the hmg has one) recitels that react with the user influence such as moving while shooting? This is to help indicate the accuracy and stability loss while doing additional actions this would help train cadance on some weapons. The current system is a little old and would benefit from some refurbishment. WeGÇÖve taken note of this and will see if we can fit it in.

Sound design? Alot of weapons sound off or weaksauce? Where's the beef? Any changes comming? IE Rocket turrets sound like a plasma cannon, ARs are tinker tappers and dont sound like plasma frying Audio work is ongoing. WeGÇÖve been doing a lot of GÇ£invisibleGÇ¥ work on the backend audio systems and are now continuing to work on the audio itself. You can check out new sounds for the AR and see what you think.
Some guns seem to lack oumph in usage or feedback, alot of them certainly dont feel like weapons only dropsuits can handle. A pass has been done on weapon animation polish in 1P as well as locomotion to give the player a greater sense of weight. WeGÇÖll await feedback on them.
Its possible to kill people outside the smg recitle hipfire box mind taking a look into it? the recitle box should match the smg spread at max range. This is the issue I mentioned above. The system needs some love, weGÇÖll be investigating how much work is required and trying to get it scheduled.
For Wolfman> Key and button re-mapping? How much more customization are you going to persue? Keyboard users want total freedom, controller users want better degree of seperation between control modes such as sensitivy between vehicles and infantry? Wolfman: I would like to hear some requests for alternate layouts to get a good idea of what people are interested in. WeGÇÖre discussing potential updates to sensitivity settings.
Score Boards ephasis based on points and contribution comming soon? Yes, that is now in. You'll get it with the next patch.
Lasers next build? Yes, unless we get any last minute crippling bugs with them.
Artillery? When? If? How? SOONTM
Functional Bed and neocom option to log out the character/quit game? I would like to add this feature but there are a lot of other important fixes to make as well. WeGÇÖll have to see if we have time to sneak it in.
Heat kill maps? being added? how will they work for the generated maps? Secret work may or may not be ongoing on heat maps.
What do you guys think about an aurum item increasing salvage quality/quantity? Nothin: Having salvage quality/quantity influencing items is something that the salvage system was designed to do. In other words, I'd love to see a 'salvager' role in the future. Whether that would be something available for ISK, AUR or both hasn't been determined yet.
Changing Recitiles/Scopes any possible chances very soon or we're going have to wait a while

Also nothin please don't let the less civil beta testers discourage you from continuing to post, many of us greatly appreciate it. Dealing with the instability and bugs is much easier when I see even simple acknowledgement of the problems from a Dev.
Here is my question for future sessions:
In order to avoid connection issues I've began joining squads with a Euro squad leader and having them drag me into the Euro battle servers. On US server 90% of my matches either fail on initializing, randomly boot me to MQ etc etc, but 100% of matches on Euro server have worked perfectly despite me being in the states. Why?
There's a memory leak issue on the battle servers that we just discovered a few days ago. Once the memory on the server is capped, battles will start failing to initialize. People are on it, though, and we're hoping to get it resolved quite soon. In the meantime though, feel free to send an email to [email protected] if you see this happen. The GMs should be able to escalate the problem and get someone in operations to reboot the servers.
To why it's happening more on the US servers compared the EU ones, my guess would be that the load on the US servers is higher and hence the problem appears more often. Don't take my word for it though :) |

Thanks for the responses and for starting the control config thread, IGÇÖll be keeping an eye on that. IGÇÖll coordinate with the Commander to do some more Q&A soon :-)
