I was testing the channels out and it seems to glitch out at certain times, no matter what you do.
How to know your channel is glitched:
- The icon next to the channel name looks like the local symbol and not like the voice icon.
- You cannot text chat.
- You cannot voice chat using UVT.
- The channels keep reappearing when you restart your client, even if you left them before.
- Your name does not appear in the channel even though you can see into it.

you should have a option saying "leave channel" or something like that when you select X on the channel name |

Same thing is happening for mine, as well.
I created a channel, but deleted it in the same instance (just trying it out). It deleted initially, but when I logged back into the game it appeared again and now I'm experiencing the same symptoms as the OP.

There is a one but it's doesn't actually drop you from the channel ie. it should remove it entirely, also joining channels can take several restarts for channel to become "visible".
Though this might be from EVE where you never really leave a channel if you close it; you can join that channel any time and it stays in your channel list for later use even if it's not active. |

I have a blank channel in my feed, and I can't leave it. Same with empty channels. |

stuck in a couple channels myself. I have no admin options over the channel, example channel = Havok
can not leave the channel. |

There's a temporary fix you can do every time you log in. Go to join/create channel menu and enter the name of that channel that's bugged. You should now be able to send and receive messages from it. If you want to leave it, you can now.
This only a temporary fix, it always comes back after you restart Dust. |
