I mostly only pay for the Heavy MKII suit and varying HMGs depending on maps and situation. With 300 shield and 520 armor before skills/mods I rarely die if I'm careful, I used to play mostly logi and now I find myself wishing there were more logi guys around to repair me as that would make for an awesome combo. If a reliable repairman could be assured, I might suit in an advanced.
My current build costs me around 40k and I make 60-99k (didn't break 100 this build) I usually die 0-1 times will switch to logi if I die twice or if our team needs me to. I surprisingly end up in the top 3 quite often with this build with scores around 8 to 15 kills to 0-3 deaths.
My pockets are usually empty but I make enough to pay for my suits and sometimes buy an extra skill. |

I think im close to 9mil isk,id prob be closer to 12 if i could play while im on vacation. I literally have a lot since i have barely bought anything. I think ive spent around 1mil isk on skill books, and maybe another 500k into gear. Mostly i run 100% militia fits, but b/c where i put skill points has helped me stay alive. So every round im going positive money wise. Most i lost in a game was like 11k, but my reward was upward of 200k,. You can survive nicely with militia gear in a lot of places. It comes a problem again people running proto gear and vehicles |

I'm trying to be a dropship pilot, so no, I can't afford my loadout consistently. Keeping a dropship alive through enough fights to pay for it is pretty rare. I haven't pulled it off once yet.

when i know i'm going to get my arse handed to me, i switch to militia suits with minimal or no modifications. i can still kill, but dying costs me nothing . i use my "good fit" which is a level II assault suit with some other tweaks only when i know i can. if i die 5 times, i switch to the militia suit. for being a weekend warrior, i still got about 600K or better. i'm saving sp and isk for a class A assault suit load out with my previous build fittings. by then i should have enough isk saved to afford the 100 load outs i'm waiting for. such as in real life... if you spend more than you earn... you end up with nothing. |

I stay at about ~1mil isk. I don't think my deaths ever top 7/8 a match. I normally use a cheap/free fit to get me started and then switch to my good fits and then if I start dying or I need to do a DL or something ********, back to my cheap fits.
The biggest advice I have is use militia and start subbing in non militia into your good fits, as you get better and figure out how manage your items the isk will start rolling in. I have gone and bought the expensive skills and within 5-10 matches I'm back up to a million, even with my deaths. I don't like going beneath a million incase I need to buy something. Its about changing your spending habits. |

I have about 5 million isk, already bought all the skill books I need for week or so, have 50+ stocked of all seven of my loadouts. Don't upgrade for the sake of upgrade, have a reason for every module, and evaluate if the cost it adds worth the gain. Also, don't die as much my kdr went from .73 last build to 1.19 this build. |

I am perfectly fine with the current economics. I hope they do not change. Only I would like to see in the immediate future is an increase to the range on the forge gun. |

LMAO I can't believe I killed this thread by mentioning AUR. So much for the braggers. I am sure they have boosters too. Oh well. I hadn't needed any of that AUR stuff yet. Of course, if the AUR gear is actually needed to stay competitive than I would consider this game broken. Thankfully, it's not (at least in that regard ). |

My best fitting costs like 40-50k if I die like 3 times a match I can somewhat manage, but any more and I am loosing money. So I alternate between inexpensive fits based on how challenging the hostiles are or how good my team is.
over 200k is a rare sight on my ISK account :(
If I really need moeny I can just jump in to my inexpensive sniper rifle + smg scout fit and start popping out what ever I can. Doesn't cost a penny to use that one. |

I think we see a lot more Aurum gear on the field right now because of the whole wipe/refund thing. I'll probably be rolling out the AUR gear for this weekend's corp battles, but once the game is released I will likely save it all for skill boosters. |

Fit cost ist mostly based on the weapons, ie heavy, breach assault and the like, otherwise I still use militia gear. A match normally brings between 45k to 75k, with 3 to 8 deaths, so ISK wise Im doing ok, not great, but sufficient. The economy is fine in my opinion, it just lacks the ability to sell the salvage, which currently amounts to around 3 mil in my case. |

i can say i can afford anything i want for a couple simple reasons...
1. i have yet to find a need for high level suits (i also havent researched them since the reset ) This is because having the extra slots is nice but honestly i wouldnt use them if i had them in most cases. If im running a heavy suit im not looking to have logi abilities. So instead of researching expensive and sp costly suits i researched ways to keep my suits healthy for longer. This has worked wonders for me.
2. Because of whats said above i rarely die. On top of suit mod research, I have also researched just 2 classes of guns and am currently working on maxing them out. This for me has limited my deaths to 5 in a bad game and 0 in a good game.
3. I learned how to effectively use a HAV so that i support me team not lead it with a militia fit tank. This tank cost me a whopping 270k to make and if i lose it one in 5 rounds im doing bad. By then i have more than recouped the funds to buy another.
4. I run with logi people and stay in a group therefor if i do die i usually get revived and most of the time i dont die cause as soon as my shields and half of my armour is gone i step back into the group and let them take the fire lol. If u dont play the game like COD and act more strategically and not as if ur in godmode you will save yourself a lot of isk.
5. I know my role in each game. If im running a forge gun im not going to be looking for kills on guys as much as i am a rouge LAV or HAV wreaking havok on the rest of my team. If im sniping i watch for guys creeping up on me. I dont just assume that no one will see me. I think my favorite thing ever is a sniper who thinks hes invisible. This makes for an easy shotgun kill.

I have about 9mil+ isk. I mostly run militia suits for everything except my logistics and scout suits on advanced. I usually invest my money on modules. I use complex armor repairer and shield delay modules and rechargers on my scout and even more stuff on my Logi. Also prototype repair tool and nanite injectors. |
