Hi guys i have created a post in the Feedback section on my suggestions to improve DUST and i would like to hear yours so that i can add it to the original list in the feedback section post in order to have one clean and organized post about testers suggestions. Here is mine:
1. Indicator for when a friend is online or offline: Currently we can't tell when a friend is online and playing DUST 514 unless we have them in PSN friend list which is limited to 99 friend. Of course i can't fill my friend list with only DUST 514 players because i play many other games not to mention i already maxed out my list. So it would be great if CCP can implement a feature to let us know when a friend/contact is online and playing DUST 514. Examples: - a green light next to the contact name when he is online AND playing DUST 514 - in contacts "view info" you could add a "status: Online" when the contact is logged in DUST 514 and "Status: Offline" when the contact is not playing DUST 514.
2. Switch Characters feature: Currently we have to reboot the client to be able to switch to a different characters, i know we still in the beta and this most likely will be implemented when the game is release so, i would like to suggest a way to implement it: - Going near the bed in MQ will show you "O switch character" notification - Or using one of the two doors in MQ if not planned for anything in the future
3. Point Scores instead of KDR leaderboards: This has been suggested/requested many times by others (me included), DUST 514 is team based tactical shooter and KDR is not perfect presentation for such shooter not to mention promoting lone wolfing. Since we already have the Warpoints system why don't you add it to the leaderboards to show the activity instead of the kills only. Similar leaderboard will be great:

As you can see the order is based in the amount of Warpoints you get or Score if Warpoints can not be used for some reason still the KDR guys can show off there skills while rewarding the most active players by placing them in the top of the leaderboards. CCP can go even further by adding other stats to the leaderboard like assists, hacks etc if the screen premits such detailed leaderbords.
4. Mercenary Stats: I would like to see an option to see the activity of certain mercenary in the game like the overall kills, death, assists, hacks, vehicle destroyed, favorite fit, number of hours played and other stuff. This might help Corps recruitment of random players. Again this most likely going to be in the finished game so excuse my eagerness.
5. Email notification: There should some sort of notification when receive mails from others, maybe exclamation mark next to email icon as long there are unread messages.

1) I'd like the ability to restock a fitting to a certain level OR buy X amounts of each mod in a fitting. Basically the way it was last build with an option for the way it is now.
2) It would be really cool if you were gunning for a couple things. a) On a LAV if there was someway to reference which direction the vehicle was headed that would make life easier. b) If you could add a HUD on the Dropship such that it displays speed and/or wind direction so you can have an idea of how far to compensate for velocity.
3) Type of battle on loading screen would be great.
4) Ability to copy/paste fittings. I don't know how many suits being LOGI that I want almost identical except different equipment options, drives me nuts having to build the different suits each time when all I want is the same suit with an exception in the equip slot. |

I've discovered a new modality of control.Instead of the DS3,or KB/M,I've started using a hybrid of both.I use the dual shock to walk,and the mouse to aim and fire.I have to put the dual shock on classic control scheme in order to jump using the L1 buttom,but I still have to take my hand off of the mouse to reload and throw grenades.
I have a Logitech GS mouse which has a button on the thumb.It would be nice if I could map that for grenades,and instead of using L2 to crouch,I would map that for reload.

Ability to press "X" on a player name and invite them to squad. Current system is slightly annoying.
Somehow make change weapon button something else. I hate using the wheel just to change to secondary weapon, and I'm incapable of pressing R2 just right to switch without bringing up the wheel. I know, I'm awful.
A skill calculator in game.
A chocolate cake with cookie dough ice cream delivered to my house after every 10000 Warpoints earned. |

. The squad invite feature is very annoying,and I too think that the weapon swap needs to be changed in some sort of way.
I would also like there to at least be an option to turn off auto reload.I hate getting into a CQC firefight with someone,only to have them kill me because I'm reloading instead of swapping weapons,which I have issues doing while reloading.
I hate to bring it up,but MAG had pretty much the perfect control setup and functionality.It's not a bad thing for devs to take the best elements of a game and use them in what they are making.

I would also like a more intuitive way to start a group.You shouldn't have to add a person to your contacts just to send them a group invite.I can see if they are in a different corp,but if they are in the same corp,it shouldn't take more than two button presses to invite a player.
The system as it is now is very frustrating,but I guess we should be a little bit thankful that we even have a grouping system at all. |

Just thought of another one.There needs to be a more intuitive way to call in squad commands.I would like to be able to call commands on the fly,instead of opening up a map and getting shot while the map is open. |

Classes of vehicles:
Light lavs: current
Medium lavs: plus two seats with armour protected pilot. Slower top speed than the current lavs
Heavy lavs: +4 to current lav seats with a pilot turret along with a gunner. But moves the slowest

Hmmm,well I didn't know that,and that seems to be a problem in of itself.The lack of knowing where to find out how to use those commands.Don't see it in the tutorials.

For all that is holy, please solve the PS3 system file corruption bug, the instant battle freeze bug and spawning in a group of red dots bug.
I don't want anything new, I just want to play without freezes or crashes and not be insta killed when spawning.
I really enjoy playing this game, when it finally loads... but lets focus on the corrupt issue and not worry about new stuff right now.

I've not racked up a huge amount of time in Dust but have gotten a few hours in on the latest patch so these are all first impressions pretty much.
1. Scoreboard needs to be more fluid. Right now it's like a sub-menu that pops up taking over your screen. Ideally something like BF3 that can be quickly brought up as a transparent HUD showing who is alive, scores, player counts etc. Current scoreboard takes too long to load.
2. Show who is talking on the scoreboard and let me interact with them (mute, friend etc).
3. Show speech icons on mini-map. Someone says: "I need help over here" there's no way for me to know who is talking or where here is right now.
4. Running-jumps are both slow and clunky. The characters appear to slow down before jumping which is completely the opposite of what you expect (you sprint into a jump IRL). I don't want bunny hopping but I do want to be able to leap out of the way of something or into a doorway and cover. The jumps don't feel right either, don't ask me for specifics, they just feel wrong.
5. Do away with range limitations on rifles. A sniper is 300m away and hitting my team mates beside me, I want to suppress him with my space-age assault rifle but I can't. A World War 2 rifle has a further effective range. It's just a bit silly really isn't it?
6. When viewing items on the market there's too many options. (View info, market prices, requirements etc etc). 7. Dropsuits can't go prone?
8. Swarm launchers are bad. Everything about them, the unpredictable spread, the lack of infantry stopping power or direct fire ability. They just go all over the place. When locking on if a tank reverses behind cover I'm still unsure whether there's a way for me to release the trigger without firing?
9. Usability. Dust needs it. It feels like it takes 15 button presses and 3 menu navigations just to take a ****. Starting the game you press start how many times? Streamline it so we can get into the game menu and into the action faster.
10. Vehicle control is all kinds of bad. One of the least user-friendly control layouts for a vehicle I've seen in quite some time. Just replace all the stick waggling with a forwards button, a reverse button and use the stick to steer like every game. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Ok 1 thing I REALLY hate is the vehicle maneuvering, which right now you basically control the whole vehicle with 1 analog stick. I industry hate it because anytime im trying to slightly turn I drift. Maybe make it so you go forward withR2, reverse with L2and drift ne holding X while turning. Oh and have SQUARE to look back. I like how the transitioning is done with triangle though. |

The Rocket Launcher Should deliver more damage. As you get people rolling around in two 'Tank' like vehicles it becomes very difficult to take them down. Especially when no one else is helping... Just a throwing that one out there... Not trying to troll... just aiming to get more involved :D:D

Ye been wondering about that myself, surley they should get the weapons in as early as possible to tweak and balance them then worry about eve integration and all the other stuff.
I wouldn't mind if they stripped the graphics back to basics as long as they got the shooting and aiming spot on then build it back up again. |

3. Remove the heavy starter. No one gets what the missles are for. Isn't it obvious by now? Give them militia hmg. Move swarm launcher.
4.increase passive sp income to 40k a day, or about one match. Isn't one match free not overboard? Also.
6. Decrease passive sp gain the longer someone hasn'tplayed a game.
7. Make it so corp buddies can't fight each other in quick match. Please.
8. Tanks with double large turrets contorled by 3 people. The enemy can run into the tank. They can hack or blast open the door.
9. Give everyone all militia gear from the start. Having to go to the market to buy one of every militia item is stupid. New players would get a better idea of what they can fit without being expected to jump.through hoops. Do we really want telling people " when you start before anything go to the market and buy your militia gear" to be an expected part of the dust 1st impression? |

Vehicle operation is way to difficult. I believe all of the control should not be in one analog stick. Please make it so that the left stick only controls moving forward and backward and the right stick controls the camera and direction you move. All control in one stick is hella hard. |
