What if vehicles came in light, medium and heavy. For example the current lav would be light, the meduim would be a bit slower but carry one or two more people with only the gunner exposed, and heavy with the highest capacity and slowest speed but the most armour and a driver controlled small turret |

Maybe the medium (or at least a type of medium) could be an APC?
Driver, small turret gunner, and space for four passengers (or however big CCP lets the squads be)
I'd personally like to see racial variants of all current vehicle types (and dropsuits/guns/etc.) before we start getting new ones |

Think of the light as an average jeep, the meduim as a slightly armoured hummvee, then the heavy lav as an apc |

I would enjoy a variant of the dropship with a gun for the pilot, flying is fun and all, but I enjoy shooting people too. |

I'd love to see like an Dust 514 version of EVE's dreadnoughts called Siege tanks. Where they have to siege up before firing and they have terrible turret traverse. Only good for taking out installations and maybe other tanks. |

Like a heavy tank with dual large turrets but almost as slow as heavies running |

We do need an armored troop carrier or make the LAV big enough for an entire squad. We can't go anywhere as a squad in one vehicle except a dropship. |

You could also just have a LAV module that provides extra seats. |

What a great idea! How about a tank that is as powerful as a tier 1 tank, but has the ability to go into siege mode, where it has a very large increase to damage but slow turning as you suggested. It would be a bit lame if you had to siege up before firing at all though, and it would be a high tier tank, requiring HAV 5 most likely and be quite expensive.
Edit: Reminds me of starcraft LOL. Maybe the tank should get a range bonus as well. |

I like the idea of more vehicle types  . How about adding something like and A-10 Thunderbolt II? What I mean is an areal vehicle that is meant for ground support, yes the drop ship does that but an areal vehicle made specifically for ground support like the A-10 Thunderbolt II. And maybe make fighter aircraft too  . I definitely want different LAV types . The idea of a light, medium, and heavy sounds like a great idea, especially for all vehicles. |

They already have plans for a CAS-oriented craft, it's demonstrated in the 2009 CCP Presents Dust segment and you can see a hologram of it on your coffee table. |
