I think that Blendeddave warriors has proved that the game is balanced. How? Well because now we have complaints that tanks are overpowered against foot soldiers, heavies with forge guns are overpowered against tanks, remote detonators are overpowered against heavy dropsuits, and dropships stomping people are overpowered against the spawn campers with remote detonators! Seems we have an extended paper rock scissor formula which means balance. Ha! So don't remove anything from the cycle.

I'm glad that no one complains that they capture objectives too quickly or that their nano injectors heal too much or the vehicles drop to close too their location or installations shoot too far.

Now a more interesting observation would be if one class of tank seemed overpowered to another (Marauder, black ops etc.). Now with the SP resets I'll have to find out if black ops shield tanks are the way to go where as I like Surya's over Sagaris, or will Suryas still have advantages to those higher end models as they have the 5th low powered module. I'm really really curious.

Tanks are fine now. Personally I think that the Militia should be a tad bit cheaper, but other than that, they're fine. If you ask me, the people complaining about it are the idiots. Have a problem with tanks? Then got to your nearest supply point, pick up your AV suit with some squad mates, blow the tank up, go back and change suit. Simple....except you probably don't hav a AT suit do you, and that's why you're complaining. Typical.

So Warriors and a GAC squad went up against my tank and im not kidding swarms everywhere. They spent the whole game chasing me and my corp mate.

2 guys vs 8 + and yes tank lived tho I only got 6 kills.
Guess I'm just super leet....

we are getting ps+ players i trolled local chat and persuaded some to join squad.. they were having a tough time with the game before i put them in my squad then I even left some on my contacts for good.. after they joined my sqaud, (we had 2 of us that already knew what we were dong) they went like 5/3 scores, all anti infantry, not the best scores but at least they went positive which from their cheers on the mic they were enjoying themselves.. one even went 8/0 after a few games.. and we didnt have a tank those matches- all "FPS playing with skill"

but if you had a squad of all 4 newbs they would get owned by tanks. i knew the maps well so if there was a tank i knew the places not to be in..

we also had a HAV one match (would have had more matches with these vets if it not been for all the reboots and invalid fits) when I had all four veterans on my squad that were a very tight and militant group, that was being repaired by one of our veteran logis..

i was using the tank as mobile cover, me in assault-II, and calling in precision strikes and rushing any AV that popped up (they were all uncoordinated solo swarm launcher attacks, no forge guns, trying to rambo our tank) other enemy were trying to frontal rush the tank with ARs, (pretty freaking stupid strategy IMO)

not once did the other team field their own tank or try any coordinated attack on us.. needless to say that team got steam rolled and my squad all went double digit positive, zero deaths..

so was our HAV overpowered with 4 guys on the mic, (me and 3 gunners) one logi/gunner repairing the tank, and me rushing any AV while they tank provide me cover fire? yea I'm sure you'll say it was dave.. but thats ok.. your friends that CCP so desperately needs are being replaced by my PS+ newbs that I'm introducing to squad/mic play...

Do you even play the game? If you don't spec av, you won't kill tanks. Nuff SaidGäó

Little unfair that me thinks. I'm an 9 year bitter eve vet myself and I wana see an epic FPS too.

As I have seen hardly any AV weapons used and do not have any AV weapons yet myself (besides Militia Swarm), I honestly cannot say whether tanks are OP or not. I hope to soon though as tanks are becoming a serious problem for someone like me without AV weapons.
