Request
Players should get something for kill assists. Or get one kill for every two assists. I get plenty of kill asists . Cheaper skill point requirements. I feel that spending hours upon hours just to level up skills is a little overboard.
Feedback and issues
Like most players I experience the same bugs with insta battle and game freezes along with server disconnects. Further more even though this is meaning to be a squad based game. Some take it way too serious to the exent of only wanting players with a certain amount of kills. And there is virtually no communication in game. Its basically a free for all where a single squad picks off individual players. I don't agree with the damage and hp systems or the aiming. I ran into a bug that killed me. Someone with the same weapon got more range even though my shots were dead on. Aiming assist doesn't work. My heavy was totally owned by a militia assault rifle when I emptied my breach rifle and barely depleted a militia assault dropsuit. So the matchmaking is not sorting players correctly if ur looking for more balanced matches.
Some players are nearly maxed on weapons and dropsuit skills and have advanced gear while going head to head with someone in basic gear. |

This. Although my personal opinion is that the kill should go to whomever inflicted the most damage, not to whomever delivered the final blow. |

^ agreed, but as of right now thats just how it is, im just saying there should be some kind of recognizable reward for getting kill assists. Especially since this is meant to be a squad based game. |

Feedback hope DEV are lurking! Taking time out from playing the game to give some feedback, have some couple pipe dream ideas
1. Squad cohesion Most FPS are like a free for all - shoot em up, no tactic involved... really. I had an idea, well not so much an idea that would fix the whole being a squad and doing some tactics but maybe a way to get the wheel turning in a direction rather then being stagnant. My little pipe dream was making squads have a sort of "Cohesion/Cohesiveness." Remember this is just a thought not something I spent hours on end thinking of so just hear me out on this. The idea is that its a passive skill that when Mercs are within a particular proximity to one another and the appointed Squad Leader, they gain some passive skills/Bonuses ect. beyond what you can already train on, or maybe BE that added "oomph" that would make you consciously want to stay within proximity to your fellow squad mates! that being said, obvious there would be skills that involved dumping SP into for this Squad Cohesion. I know you could easily say - well you can gain the benefit from being in a squad and the quickly break from the squad to chase down a lone sniper darting for the hills and get a kill, then re-enter into the squad - makes it seem like no downside to moving rapidly in and out of cohesion and that would not really promote the idea but could just make it broken, however I like things with style and somewhat flavor that carries the idea, so I thought briefly. To enter back into cohesion you would need to preform tasks with said group members may it be like hacking items together or getting kill assists or staying within proximity with X amount of members for Y amount of time. That the very basic idea of the squad cohesion I envisioned.
2. Salvage from Planets This I really enjoy, everything about getting random drop mods/ gear I will not use or cannot even sell...yet? Idea is brilliant but I want to see it taken to a level that encompasses the many planets we will be trotting on for battle in the near future. The ideas is that planets are made up from many different mineral compositions and have much different Fauna and Flora. I'd like to see that become a part in the day to day battles! Example is that a particular planet we are on, you have the chance to salvage a planet that if you have the appropriate skill(s), that you could turn that particular salvaged item into Biotic that adds bonuses or; you salvage particular minerals/ores to make a "Energized Plating" that reduces DMG. I feel as if it adds that "RPG" element that makes it have another replay value and also a way to make items over time vs Market and already typical salvaged items you could get! The beauty however is in the only particular items can be salvaged from certain planets so it makes you want to visit other planets enriching us in the Eve fluff(I think something like in the "thousands" for planets inside the setting of Eve?) It just gives us reasons beyond normal contracts to want to traverse the abundant planets. Side note on salvage I think i see "ISK salvaged?" on the screen when SP/ISK is calculated on the bottom right hand corner? will we Salvaged some extra chedda? cause that be good
3. End of Matches I'd love to see some sort of bonus for winning the match like an additional 3%-15%? anything I wold take really, because really I'm grinding out to get SP/ISK but I want to be able to fuel some stronger builds, but looking how many times I died to see if i stay at par to keep on playing with new gear and able to balance buying books its very fine line. And I am familiar with EVE philosophy from my brother who got me hooked on DUST 514 he said "Don't fly what you cannot afford to lose." I am not afraid of losing any Drop/Gear i dumped ISk/AUR into because I can make ISK and get more AUR(FYI PSN+ you can get Merc pack 10 bux i bought two extra why not have 8,000 aur and 2x 30 day skill boosters) also whats so fun running around in blueprint(I thats what its called now gear that is unlimited) gear, I do it too grind because i have no penalty if i lose and i can just follow behind players and they take the brunt of fire an squeek in the kill or get an assist either way I stay at Par and I get SP/ISK at no loss besides not having T2 gear(most proto has less CPU/PG consumed - but T2 seems just as good for fractions less when comparing). Really im pushed by banking more kills Per load out to make me cost effective, So by killing 3-5 people per death is amazing and it would increase your SP/ISK to break away from militia gear, but also sucks when you get camped and your good dropsuit gets ganked soon as u drop in. its something you weigh right also having an decent end of match bonus will add incentive! Too not just use a militia gear items which im perfectly happy piloting till I get to dump more SP into my build. but make you want to pilot in some T2 gear in order to keep the pressure on the reds. I know we could see this problem fixed once the Market is aligned with EVES market and we could see them give us contracts to take a planet or a particular tactile spot and get some great loot to fuel my Merc. What I am saying I like to pilot gear beyond the default because i like to get more then 11,000 SP per match and upwards of 60,000 - 75,000ISK because skill books are expensive and buying good gear to throw at the reds get expensive and i do not mind piloting market bought gear but make it worth piloting. because any suit you pilot could slay or put some heavy dents into T2 gear and proto and even more so if you did not run in solo but had a decent team to give fire support and + 25 is better then none and a upwards of 10 second delay for getting back into the mix or losing 20,000-35,000 ISK in Market items! if not we all can just buy a logi repair tool and drop a vehicle and crash it to almost Zero armor and repair it! to get anywhere from 25-75 points and |

New Request:
Maybe have the option of changing scopes....am i the only one who thinks the scope on the Assault rifle and sniper rifle are a bit bland?
ability to chance scopes would be nice too, I personally dont like the default scope and hate it everytime i have to use it. Especially on an assault rifle. An acog scope or red dot sight would be nice.
New Issue:
to me the range needs to be adjusted more as well, someone with an assault rifle shouldnt be able to pick me off at the same distance as a sniper. the range on all Assault rifles should be close to the same. with the exception of the tactical AR. |
