The isk income doesn't match up. Even the painfully slow skill income is still too fast to keep up with the market prices. I am saving all my money as well until I can fit a decent number of suits. The other problem being I have to drop 50k plus now and then to purchase supports skill books, which sets me even further back in trying to upgrade my equipment.
Purchasing vehicles? Forget it. |

i'm actually really good at first person shooters i just hate the tanks but they will be removed because it's chasing off all us FPS players with skill

the smart money is buying proto Assault Rifle, and Suit with modules using AUR, most because of increased prices without a chance to play in more risky areas for more reward. Once you get the skill points, ISK is no burden, for those with AUR
I have seen many such as Protoman, use the Roden AUR rifle while I was using the Blindfire AUR rifle on sunday.
I imagine by the time these players stop using AUR they will have enough ISK to switch mayb without going back to militia at all or rarely this build |
