We talk on the phone all day at work and talk about when we get off we will get on Dust. But then we spend the whole time trying to play a round TOGETHER that we really dont get much play in. Cmon CCP. I believe in you. Love the game but dang. Maybe tomorow will be better after the last phase? Thanks for all your hard work tho. Sorry I whine. The hit detection seems a little better today than yesterday.

But it looks like that its only happening when I enter a game. When I leave and then check the Fitting it's still bugged so I have to restart the game.

All my fittings were listed as invalid and I couldn't restock. I wasn't part of a squad unfortunately I didn't think to check the status of my fittings before joining. Edit: apparently I was part of a squad(!) I never joined it though :S

I never joined it though :S Any players not in a pre-grouped squad are put in squads made by the computer. It's been that way since at least the last build (when I joined Dust). But the bug does happen more often when you're in a custom squad. Or maybe it just seems that way because it's a bigger hassle. Either everyone has to quit the match and wait for the bugged player(s) to restart or the bugged player(s) have to restart and wait for the others to finish the match.

He directed me to the question of "were you in any of the menus/neocom when you initiated the entrance into a match?" Sure as sh*t, the 3 times I had it happen, I was in a menu screen when I got the dreaded "INVALID" fitting bug. Also, a word of advise from me is that when you get it, you have to completely restart the game, not just sign out of PSN and then sign in. Doing the latter has caused freezes and hard resets during loading screens. Hope this adds to our ability to avoid this nasty issue.

Exact same thing (including restart to fix) happens to me several times a day past couple days.

Yah, I wanna say I was using the neocom every time this happened now that you mention it.

I had played a few days with no problems, but sure enough, when I hosted the squad last night I started getting it myself. Out of some four hours of attempting to play together last night, we probably had about 30m total game time in the same match without one of us having to quit & restart the game. I tried to look for patterns, but it didn't seem to consistently glitch in relation to who was hosting or who was looking at menus.

The fittings are valid before trying to join and I'm not in a squad. If I cancel out of that and try again I will either get in game with valid fittings or the neocom will become unresponsive and require a restart. At the result screen look at tne ISK you made in that match and then at your total wallet. Example you entered a match with 0 ISK (hope that will never happend to you) and you made like 100.000 ISK. When your total wallet on the bottom still says 0 ISK then you will get a invalid fit bug.

Looks like the direct cause is still unknown sooo let me add my experance to the colective knowledge so we might hammer out what the trigger or triggers are. Joined a battle that was already in progress. The list of names never showed up so I hit the neocom to see if squad names would appear. The moment I hit the neocom I was pushed to the loading screen. From there everything was invalid and I was unable to restock. Thing I should point out... I was not a member of a premade squad and in my last round my total wallet included the pay out from the mish and not my starting balance.

Even if you don't buy anything on market, you still might receive stuff in salvage at end of the match. Even if you don't get anything in salvage, I bet the player items database needs updated or verified before the next match and there isn't enough time being allowed for that to happen, or it's not happening fast enough. Remember, this bug started when we started getting salvage items after matches, didn't it. Just a thought, M.T.
