You'll be able to get stuff cheaper once the player market is ready. All that salvage gear you can't use will be much easier to unload under the market price. (I'm currently sitting on a 1.2 mil tank I will never use; I would gladly sell it off at a 200k discount.) |

Which is why I practiced like that, cause you need that skill when fighting after launch.
Same here actually. I spent all of my time in standard and militia gear on purpose. Granted I had my own reasons, but I find it funny that a lot of people who relied on the higher tiers of gear are the ones complaining about prices. The prices if anything are where they should be. The market is always a flip where it helps to balance the game.
Honestly though people complain about any and everything they can. Pathetic. |

I think the Standard gear is a tad bit expensive but the Advanced and Proto is fine. Honestly its more fun because its not just Proto vs. proto battles. Militia guys like me can actually compete. But even if I am doing just as well S everyone else I can only afford 8 standard suits a match ATM, and thats fitted with militia mods. Adding a standard or seciality weapon such as Tactical or Assault cuts down my budget to 4 suits a match... Urgh. |

Like others on this topic we all have our opinions on the market and pricing. Me personally i find the market to be overall horrible. There are some prices that are good and others that aren't. I believe that once people are able to use adv/proto gear, there should be a chance to go pos/even even with a death. All situations should allow a person to make money in a match if they do good.
Ex: run proto setup costing ~250k , and say u go 30-1 . Most likely even with hacks etc, u wont make your money back, and i find that to be wrong. If you are kicking butt in your role in killing, dishing ammo, and beasting (for all intensive purposes), u should be allowed to go positive; but in this current market, id bet you'd be lucky if even got 200k reward (not including salvage items)
Id personally say, keep the dropsuit prices as they work nicely, but reduce the gun/module/equip stuff buy 20-30% , dont think a proto gun should really cost any more then say 30k
Again, just my. 02 isk on the matter |

Beta testing the prices seeing what happens in game when prices are super cheap and when they're significantly higher. |
