I don't see how the market is complicated.
You want stuff, so you go to the market.
Pick a category.
Pick an item.
Pick a variant of said item.
Buy item. ISK subtracted from account.
Im not really sure how you can make that any more simple |

Again....it's not complicated, what we're playing in the beta right now is the most shallow part of the game. Are you having fun? I am, and honestly it's stupidly simple.
Dust is not complicated, sure there are a lot of systems to know, but they're easy to understand. |

The majority of console gamers wont care to sift through the economy and all that it entails in order to fit their character. Not in the 'instant gratification' console era
I just love how people seem to think console players are bunch of idiots screaming on CoD. Most people don't realize this but...a console......is actually a computer too. Shocking I know! Sp apparently console gamers are really not total idiots compared to PC gamers! GASP!
Just because you spend more money on your machine, doesn't mean that everyone else has the attention span and IQ of a rock. |

And if you think that the market is a bunch of "economic intricacies" then you clearly have a very simple mind. The market system is very simple and streamlined. Just because you can choose from more than 10 guns doesn't mean its complicated, it just means you have options.
Also this economic system is NOTHING like EVE's complexities. Even dabbling in the most basic of trading in EVE, it makes Dust look like a picture book compared to the NYSE. |

Well it takes about 2 months of playing EVE to really get a good grasp on the game. It takes about 2 hours to get a good grasp on Dust. They dont even compare. |
