Point was that she's physically stronger than 90% of males in the world.
Women CAN be physically stronger than men, but it takes more work to make a female body stronger than an average male than to give a male body the same physical strength.
Females have other advantages, but that's not the point.
In New Eden, whether a character is male or female, the lore states that they use male clones in combat. Female body outside of combat situations, if you've chosen to be female. This will hopefully include the Merc Quarters, and possibly in the War Room.
In-game models will remain the same, NOT changing for gender, but you'll be able to have female models later - it's possible they won't add these until after the game's release though. We still just have to wait and see what happens and when. |

Brink would have been a better suggestion. I've been playing it again recently (got a really good price on release, and it looked like fun). It's not as bad as I remember it being... Not great, but still fun. Yeah, Brink was updated a few months after its release with patches, new maps, trophies, level cap & ablities but by then most people returned their respective FPS games forcing those that jumped on late to rely on {stupid} computer AI teammates & go up against {ruthless} computer AI opponents. Any shooter that forces you to rely on AI teammates is usually doomed to fail. Also any shooter that can't maintain its online community is doomed to fail as popularity equals funding & funding equals sustainablity, & sustainablity goes right back into popularity {circle of fps life}. Brink had promise but it had too many forced choke points that favored the deffenders with turrets. In addition to that it, as with all objective games, was inherrently made worse if you were stuck playing with people without the concept of communication (mics) and teamwork. Original shooters have alot to prove as they basically have to stand toe-toe against shooters that have been out for years if not decades & Brink failed to do that. In a way it was kind of like a small, multi-platfrom, arcade style version of MAG, lol. I played it after the update. The friendly AI is less stupid now than it was before, and the enemy AI is less ridiculously OP now (except on Hard, where it uses aimbots and occasional wallhacks).
I remember it still not being as good as it seems now that I've gone back to it.
From testing with the couple of friends I still know who have Brink, they still didn't fi the biggest problem, which is putting together a team. THAT was the biggest mistake the devs made with Brink, and it's still a problem. Not supporting teamplay in an objective-based shooter is possibly the biggest epic fail humanly possible.
Also, there wasn't a single turret-filled chokepoint in Brink that couldn't be circumvented by a couple of competent Light players, or cleared with grenades by a couple of competent Heavies. |
