Ok i am going to try here I have no voice comms i did port forwarding voice chat is on ptt is off and still no voice through my tv or headset which makes it really hard to play this game since spwning is so messed up already i have been on IRC i have posted multiple times and all i have gotten is links to survey's i mean really and then yall wonder why there are.more players not spending money than thier are....ohh and i was also told if i buy UVT itwill solve my problem. Why would i buy a chat engine if the free one does not work where does this make sense. |

All i know is this is so much bull i have tried so hard to get a developers or gm's assistance and or attention and nothing i mean they do not even have a way to mail them i read so many posts about ohh we want your feedback but honestly i see no way that thier attemping to make themselves attainable. This is so crazy once again i have done every troubleshooting you havr posted on your stupid forums i deleted and teinatalled the beta i even had my cable provider send a tech out yesterday to help make sure i have done my port forwarding correctly everything is right on my side it's time for you guys to try and fix this problem I can not believe i am going on a week and no type of real human communication except for i e- mailed support and got a link to a ******* survey i mean wtf is that once qgain a bad rep will travel further than a good one and if you do not wanna end up like another game that will remqin nameless since the last person i read to kention it was silenced that happened pretty fast i must say. You should pay attention to stuff that makes the game playable it is really had getting people to want to play with you when they can't talk to you right now i have to say you tech support reqlly sux. |

Ohh yea and IRC is a load of crap also i went on there spent an hour trying to speak to someone thwn when i finally got a GM he tells me ohh i just had someone else tell me the same thing unfortunatly we don't do the trouble shooting on here have u mailed support i swearvi wanted to throw my ckmputer at the wall when he asked me that i kean what is IRC for if u can not get real time help with a problem it's basically a lreal time forum DUST user support blows huge chunks you should all be ashamed |

I just do not get it still no responses they can post in all thease other threada all kinds of mindless dribble and not help where it counts whats the point of even having a bugs section if your not even gonna say hey we're looking into it even tho at this point i would not even believe that cause a problem this small should have been delt wit b4 beta even started |

And still nothing no voice comms thru my my headset or tv and no one that can fix it cares a simple thing like chatting in game it is amazing how much not being able to talk to the other people really changes playing a game. Never had and or have any problems with voice comm in any other games three different people have tried to help and all say the same thing. That the problem is not on my end so there is only one place to look for the blame. |

My whole point is if my headset was the problem when i turn it off i ehould still hear people talking thru my tv and i do not. Wo therefor that leads me to believe that there is a problem that has nothing to do with me. Again in game settings voice chat is on push to talk is off dialogue is at 100 percent. My playstation settings tells me my mic is working fine. My headset works fine in every other game and for my phone. I have also done port forwarding and set my playstation up as the dmz on my router. I have also tried to delete the game off my hard drive and reinstall, that also did not work. Now when i turn my headset on i do hear clicks as i go from merc quarters to in game or when i switch from lets say corp channel to squad channel. |

I had troubles with comms a few builds back ... this build is particularly troublesome for comms but this fix worked for me in the last few builds.
This build I get comms failure when I log in, but rebooting always fixes it. If mine is on system default my headset will not work at all which is why you have to choose the device you would like to use under audio device settings in the playstation xmb or settings which ever you would like to call it. |

The second thing I am saying is that CCP is tiving me nothing but the run around on this subject I post in forums they tell me to mail support. When i mail support they tell me to post in forums and IRC is useless as thwy do not and will not i tepeat they refuse to help with technical problems. |

No what i am saying is my device settings are set to the specific device i want like you are suggesting. I added thqt my headset will not work when on system default. No offense was met but you do have to understand my frustration with this, as it is going on two months now and I have fielded every suggestion that has been given and even responded to people telling me the same things that if they read what i wrote i alread explained i have tried. Agin i ment no offense by telling you it does not work on system default and i apoligize for any misunderstanding |

That said I'd write again to support email, put FAO Cmdr Wang in the subject and calmly explain the comms problem explain the run around if all these emails were actually comms related and not referring to a forum bug you'd also mentioned, but certainly mention the GM Hercules response so long as that was in response to the comms bug and quote Wang the second loading page and that you're asking for assistance.
I can post that also the thing is this is the only topic i have mailed them about and these are just the only ones i still had
