Interesting that they're pursuing this ahead of schedule, though if they think they can pull it off, this gives a chance to point out issues in Phase 2 before a whole bunch of weekend pass scrubs come in, say everything sucks, and then go making twitter posts about how the game is terrible and no one should play it.

If they wipe our characters are we going to get the sp compensated? or at least the items I got in the merc pack?

Just read the last one. Honestly, I'd rather you take a few extra hours. and get it done right :P

I'm of course itching to get in as much as the next guy, but I'd rather not have a buggy crashing game, because you were rushed.

You can always compensate us with free goodies later (Just kidding :P)

I think part of the reason they haven't wiped us is the game is still super buggy. They are using as as lab rats to make sure the 21st goes smooth. They know we are going to go through hell untill the build is smoothed out. So we get to keep all of our sp kinda like a reward for testing the build early.

Also in a way they are testing what dust will be like when tons of people are playing with high sp.

Can't wait for the wipe, knowing everyone is leveling up at rhe same pace, plus the new passive sp gain is much better. I think they should raise it a little more but you get the idea. It'll be more like then real launch and less like the last build with a single map, uughhh

they should sell more bpos on the playstation store I would buy them and also sell implants that increase your passive sp gain that goes in the same slot as your battle sp gain implant.

I wonder if we will have a huge update for phase 2 (if it comes out today/tomorrow).

Don't think there will be an update as such, this is the build we'll be playing as far as im aware. Maybe a small patch just to point the client at the right server and to fix anything that's broken that they're prolly sorting now. I personally think its a bit optimistic to expect to have it back do a few days. THIS is the hard part linking the two systems together. And its not like theyre using a single server to link ps3 and PC users both playing an fps. There using the same server to link two completely different eco systems, different coding, different platforms and architecture, whilst making the two of them not just run in tandem but actually link in to each other. Its like trying to make a train and a plane share the same engine and fuel as one flies along and the other scoots along a track half a mile below it at a completely different speed

You're exaggerating. DUST was written with EVE in mind from day 0. They tried their hardest to have everything fit smoothly and be compatible with each other. Now it's just testing if everything they planned works. Usually things don't work, and that's what the hard part is :)

So phase 2 is fixes and the character reset. I'm assuming phase 3 will be just be PS+ and maybe a few more fixes.

I recon phase 3 will be integration. Ie coms and or market and orbital strikes ect. First job is to get it to work on the same server

Waiting for Dust and to get on MvM on tf2. *sigh*

I just hope what ever happens they will tell us if it wont be back up today so I know to stop waiting
