So I noticed with the new build that now instead of my repair tool emitting sneaky black smoke there are now GIANT FREAKING LIGHTNING BOLTS OF HEALING. What gives guys was the black smoke always a placeholder animation or is this a case of "Careful what you wish for" in wanting a better indicator of when the repair tool was working?
With all the issues you take with running a Logi the black smoke was a blessed relief in avoiding sagaris to the face syndrome. Now I have a big neon light screaming SHOOT THIS GUY FIRST everytime I want to rep something. |

The lightning is an effect from Eve. I preferred the black smoke because I don't like wearing a neon sign that says "Filled with Candy; Shoot Me." |

Personally, I'd fully support just using the same yellow-to-green swath type effect from EVE. It'd make sense, and be a lot less obvious than the current lightning bolt thing. |
