I always considered this to be the curse of PSN, previous build dl'd in about 20 mins, this build is gonna take 2-3 hrs.

Never seem to be able to get consistant results from it, never found any good solution to the problem, just make sure to download over a wired connection, ps3 wireless tends to be super slow at times.

DNS1=PRIMARY, DNS 2= SECONDARY? subnet mask has some numbers in it, default router has 0's

and which ip is the correct one for default the one under WAN Status or the one under LAN Status?

This could be it. I'm using wireless because I have no choice. My connection would have to go along the entire house. Guess it's time I picked up a 100 meter Ethernet cord and lots of tape.

Nexus Dragoon along with myself have tried trouble shooting every possible solution we could think of on our end. Nothing has worked thus far. I've contacted Sony believing it to be on their end with the Dust update. I don't have a problem downloading anything else off of PSN. Will post the results back here so stay tuned if your having the same issues.

Its not PSN this latest Dust update has been the only thing giving me a problem ever.

I've got over 5k mins left here, and it's been going half an hour (not that it makes a difference)... Any solutions to this yet? I'd quite like to play this week ^^

Dust is a product of CCP not Sony so if it is a PSN problem then CCP should be able to do somthing about it. Im a consumer who payed for a product that isent working the way it should be. I would like to get a dev post in here, this thread has been going 3 days now with no response.

No. We tried to be helpful and offer you solutions and informed you that it may not be CCP. Then you whined and stated you were entitled to a working product. This is a beta, you are not entitled to anything. You have been given access to a beta so you can help test it, for free, as such you are not obliged to give a set amount of time, you do it when you feel up to it. The only obligations that there are here are for you to follow the NDA which is a binding legal document. You're at fault here for stating you were entitled to a working product. I challenged that with a valid point so pack the attitude. You're not being paid to test this you can walk away any time you want but do not claim that you are entitled to anything. You are entitled to nothing.

I'm having this issue too. The first time it took about five hours to get over half way done, and I figured I'd go to bed and let it finish over night. I woke up to an error. The next day I tried three or four times, but got errors around the 10-20% mark. Then the next day I got lucky, and it downloaded rather fast, though the time remaining kept going up, but I got to 62% within an hour or two. Then I figured I'd turn my laptop off and take a nap while my PS3 downloaded the rest of the update.

Apparently my PS3 didn't like that, as turning off my laptop immediately made my PS3 tell me it had been disconnected from the media server... what? The update failed AGAIN. That was the only time I'd ever gotten it to say it would take less than 300 minutes to download, and the only time it got that far.

Right now I'm trying AGAIN and I'm at 1% with 900+ minutes to go...

Trinity get lost you have nothing to say. The update server belongs to CCP, the problem is not being able to get a connection to the server. PSN does not host an update server for any game. Think about the money that would be involved for them to hold servers for every game you get threw psn. It's abserd. You put your illogical statement in not knowing what your talking about. Stop trolling this thread and move on. I've posted a valid support thread that many people seem to be having a problem with. I'm kindly waiting a CCP post on this issue.
