I sure have been having to restart the game or PS3 thru all this testing lately. I hope im not doing any harm to my console. |

Hopefully CCP gets it sorted out quickly. When I first DL'd the update, I got on, played 4 matches, everything seemed fine. Shut down PS3. Came back a few hours later, to play... 0 for 3. Keep getting the "endless loading screen"
My PS3 isn't freezing (I can still get onto the XMB), but have to quit game and reload it....but like I said, went 0/3 and then just gave up. |

I have had 2 hardlocks in 5 matches. Had to quit out of fear of blowing my PS3 up. |

Had EXACTLY the same problems..... ie freezing, crashes, resets, system restores..... with the other free MMO on the ps3 (DCUO).... unfortunately its part and parcel of it all,,, and my ps3's like an ill friend of mine as a result lol |

Ya mine today had froze and i tried to restart it and it went all wierd and i had to unplug it and plug it back in hopeing my ps3 wasnt crashed. But it worked. |

If anybody tells you otherwise, disregard them and mark them as an idiot.
The ONLY problem you are having with restarting your PS3 is that the fans are turning off while the CPU and GPU are still hot. It COULD cause some effects after excessive amounts of doing it, but chances are high that it won't do anything at all. If you are truly worried about it, keep a fan nearby to use on the PS3 when you are turning it off.
As for the data check, that's just sony's way of saying, "YEAH *****, WE CAN DO WHAT WE WANT" (It's meant for if you've got corrupted files, which would be caused by doing a hard-reset while a game is saving) |

ive got a fat-boy and its like 5 years old so im not in any hurry to keep having to do the turn off back on but when im in the eternal load screen/stuck on the victory/defeat screen i find that my ps button still works so that i can quit the game instead of just shutting my machine down. |

IM sure as long has it dosent totally lock up and you can still get to the XMB menu to quite the game you are ok.
