Why not allow us to create our own variations of the current weapons? Haut addingve a skill for each weapon type, jam not talking about adding a scope or front hand grip, but really creating unique weapons...ARs for example will have the base stock, then if u wanted more smg add a increased plasma charge, that will slow your rate of fire tho. The idea would be that all additions would make the gun more expensive in terms of idk...pg and cpu can change with the addition of some components. I think this would give us another way to make our own characters unique. More options available the more balance without blandness can happen. |

you could remove all other gun varients, when someone is killed you just have the base type weapon, and yeah it would probably break the bank on memory, maybe for PS4 |

also wouldn't be necessary to have any new skins, just a basic model type, but I guess they want a pretty game instead of infinately deep. |

Why is it necessary to take pot shots at CCP over this? They've not expressed any opinion on the matter, and considering what they've done and still plan to do with this game, I don't think we're going to have any problems with them prioritizing graphics over gameplay depth.
That said, I like your idea. Having fittings for your weapons as well wouldn't take up very much memory (since you don't need to have weapon modules appear on the in-game weapon model), and it would allow people greater ability to customize their dropsuit fittings to fill specific niches. |

The problem with memory isnt that the ps3 cant handle more models but because they dont want the game files to get too large in a beta. If it takes hours to download it alot of people might not stick it out. Just presuming though.... |
