Looks like playstation plus members will be getting beta access.
And 50% off the merc pack. To be honest I am a tiny bit annoyed by this, but hey it was still a bargain when I bought it and now its half the price again, I may buy it one more time because I know I'll be able to stick it on a post beta alt and also get another round of 4000 aur on the cheap, (I do love my black and red scout suit) for the price of 2000 aur actually, maybe even less, I havn't figured it out, but damn its cheap as chips.
Which is nice.

I'm a Playstation Plus Beta Player and I have a question. The beta event is supposed to go on until the September 4 right?. Will PS+ members be able to access the beta after the event, or will we have to buy the mercenary pack to continue our beta access? |

I think PS+ users got all access keys. Honestly, that bums me out a bit. We're going to see so many more "nerf vehicles" "no KBM" "make me better" threads. And here, I thought we'd finally gotten past all that. |

Well if you want these deals, you have to pay for PS+. Can't blame Sony for doing their best to give us value for our money.
And as far as I know, the Mercenary Pack is required for beta access past September 4th. |

The add in the "What's New" section says "All Access" so I'm not really sure.

Not really. Pay $50/year and getting 200+ free games and tons of 25%-50% off deals? Pretty low cost if you ask me. |

I read this same thing on a different post last night, it's been proven to work with at least two, you get everything back I the start of the official launch from what I understand ( equipment and AUG) that's 8000 AUG plus blueprints and other items (50 of each). Seriously considering buying one more pack, after all you get to sell any leftovers... |

I'd buy another one but I just had to buy a new headset because my sound half died in one ear and I couldn't stand it. Went with the PS3 Official 7.1 Headset. Apparently, these things can compete with headsets 2.5x the price, with about the same sound quality. I got mine for only -ú64, but it totalled -ú70 becuase I wanted a guarantee that I would get them by tomorrow.
Looking forward to trying them out.
It's not every day you see Sony making a good product for a good price, besides a PlayStation. |

Well here's to hoping it's as good as they all say. The first game i'll have to try it with is BF3, if it's as good as they say then that's where it will really shine. Then i'll go on DUST of course  |

This is not true. They only have access until the 4th September unless they spring for the merc pac. I have met some plus members that are really amped for the game and some that were like, meh. |

Yes, you can because it does not download to the playstation. Instead I think that it stays on the server waiting for a connection to be established with the server for DUST |
