Breach is okay for now but the damage mods dont work atm
Cant really say until i see the numbers but atm the breach is like 57.1 DPS i think, it may drop to 55 i reckon but cant say until new build

Its not so much that breach isnt OP, it is. The prob, is when devlopers go overboard when trying to balance guns. If you improve hit detection, the faster firing ar become better because they already have better dps. Once you improve the tact and burst ar, they will be better options without having to nerf the breach.
I guess we'll haveto wait and see. |

The problem isn't te DPS. The problem is that the clip lasts longer than any other assault rifle. Once team play starts to get serious, the ability to reload only 1/2 as much is amazing. More demonstration that CCP doesn't quite understand team based FPS with high health. TAMSEN on mag was only good because of 45 capacity instead of 30. THAT is the problem. Tac AR + mouse will be silly good IMHO. |

Highest killing potential yes, but if it has less dps then the person should die faster making a longer lasting clip obsolete. I agree the devolle takes more skill but it has faster killing....cant tell u how many times I kill Creon users 1v1 with my smg or pistol I normally win because I spit out tons more dmg...I think a lot less people will use the Creon now...it 'll become worthless. Unless of course they nerf it by 1 dmg. |

ARs are very lacking atm with no mention of improvement aside from nerfing or buffing.
The 'accuracy' is based on RBS which is sad.
None of the weapons have adjustable fire modes (a feature that has been in games since at least 2005)
But seriously, how can we even critique these things when the hit detection problems don't even merit a serious post in the patch notes? MOAR BLACK OP TANKS! |

The gun sucked anyway I used it and instantly hated it. I feel the gun was hyped for the start with everyone using it and it doesn't even have decent dps to begin with maybe next build you might actually find the true king of gun's the Stormside Roden. . |

Breach weapons are over used.
Rather than nerfing the breach AR CCP SHOULD have buffed the other rifles and made them more worth while.
Standard assault rifles run out of ammo too fast
Burst rifle needs to be a three round burst carbon copy Battlerifle from halo/resistance

Breach has highest damage per magazine(reason I started using breech smg, tired of getting killed by nearly dead enemy while reloading.)assualt/burst the highest per second. The tactical has longest range with new build. The smg's range boost won't make much difference, if I engage on the longer side of it's range now I die as a scout(speed is no defense at that range). Only time range will get used is to reach slighlty higher dropships. Forge gunners have mor4e range on sidearm. I don't see a little range affecting choice for assualts, ar unless putting something else in light, higher skill level in smg then ar, or cqc/anti-scout fit being only reason to take smg over ar.
I agree smg didn't need a buff, buff just seems like it won't matter to me. The breach ar damage nerf will be small I hope, they were better but not by much. 2-3damage maybe, again, hope they don't over do it.

Funny to see who is crying about the guns getting fixed...
There are other gun variants besides the breach variants. Now more people will try other variants and find what works for them. I already changed to assault SMG instead of breach.
