I have seen some chatter on this and was wondering on what ship(s) will be doing the bombardments. I have seen some talk that destroyers will be at least one. Any confirmations on this or are we still in speculation mode on this? Or will all ships have the capability, just with the right module fitted? Just curious. wanted to know what skills I need to be training. |

Any of them can. Destroyers will be specialized for it though. |

For those not acquainted too much with EVE, despite the scary name, Destroyer class vessels are very low tier i believe. |

Destroyers are just barely a step up from frigates the smallest combat ship in EVE. Destroyers can carry seven or eight guns depending on the specific destroyer. |

If you want to nuke a target instead of the whole battlefield, 8 small guns might be preferred to 3 XL. |

They have put it in a dev blog for eve about ship rebalancing that they can.

cool. I heard destroyers might be the specialty class so I made sure to get destroyers to 5. Can't wait till the skills go on the market. Glad next update will be on singularity as well so we can check all that out. |

Destroyers are an anti-frigate ship just like how real-life destroyers are anti-submarine ships. They're slightly bigger and fit frigate-size weaponry, but they can fit 8 turrets compared to 2 or 3 and they have bonuses to tracking and/or range.
The very basic size progression (ignoring tech two ships, mining ships, tech three ships, capital ships, etc) is:
frigate->destroyer->cruiser->battlecruiser->battleship |
