The grenades still need some work.I think that most of the time that I throw them, they are duds and I don't see or hear them explode.
AV grenades are pointless against a tanked out Sagaris, and with the lack of decent splash damage,it's almost pure luck if you kill anything with them.
Another thing is that there really is no variety of grenades. There needs to be more.We need smoke, sticky,EMP,and I would absolutely love some caltrops.
Physics of the grenades need to be fixed as well.I have almost no idea how far that I'm going to throw them sometimes, and the arc is way too high. Also,if I'm pinned down, and need to throw one at the feet of an enemy that's close to me,I don't need it to bounce 20 ft away from where I've thrown it.There needs to be some sort of integration of the L2's sensitivity to determine how far you throw them. |

This. They are fun when they work, but too often will dud and you can't really control how far you will throw them. BTW........the 'Hollow' EX-O AV grenades are just beastly against EVERYTHING.
Good to know,I'll have to give those a try.
As for the replies about the caltrops,if you've ever played Brink, then you will understand how I'm thinking they should work.Basically,it's just a ball that pops open and spreads caltrop spikes all over the ground.they could injure people that walk over them, and damage the tires of an LAV.They aren't necessarily meant for killing, but more damaging and incapacitating.
