2: A Headshot Sound Indicator Since headshots are not OHK there should be a dfferent sound for when your bullets are hitting shomeones head, i.e. in MAG headshots made a sort of bullet hitting a tin can type sound. |

Given that we're heavily armoured with (mostly) the same materials covering our entire body from head to toe, there's no rational explanation for a different sound on a headshot.
Adding a headshot indicator on the kill feed would be nice though. |

It could make sense that the integrated operating system of our suits could tell us when we hit the head of an ennemy with a quick sound. Sort of a "you're good there ! keep it up !" alert ^^ |

So it makes sense that vehicles have infinite ammo? So it makes sense that scouts have 2 weapon slots and logistics have 1? So it makes sense that an explosive weapon (swarm launcher) has virtually zero splash damage but its operation skill increases the splash radius?
CCP is not the business of making sense, they are in the business of providing a great game play experience. |

theres nothing in the head to begen with its hollow so it makes a hollow sound. pretty hard to argue with that logic |

Ok fine helmets are made of a different material than the rest of the armor, which creates a different sound when impacted by bullets. That make enough sense for you?

+1 Headshot indicators need to be in the game. A simple addition that would add a great deal to the gameplay experience imo.
There are a couple ways of doing it, such as replacing the "kill +50" with "headshot +50". Also you could just put an indicator in the killfeed. You could even do both. Just some ideas, but it should be in the game in some form.
I dont really care one way or another for headshot sounds. |

You hear a sound when you kill someone, don't you? A sound for headshot would be awesome. Plus one OP and everytime you post in this thread lol.
It was the little things that made that game awesome.....that headshot sound was one of those little, big things. I heard there were some MAG developers helping CCP out? Where are they and their input??? |

I still like the idea of a headshot indicator.
And I've thought of an explanation for a different sound.
SENSITIVE ELECTRONICS GO IN THE HELMET. Your head is where they attach all the cameras, and where all the screens have to go, because even though we're genetically enhanced clones, we're still (mostly) human, and we still have eyes in the normal places, and not anywhere else. Well, most of us do, anyway.
So obviously, lots of full 'lectric bits means a different sound when you get your head exploded.
Logic has been found, idea has now been officially +1ed by me! (sorry I took so long) |
