If we could, I honestly would, money and sp arent hard to come by, but we dont have those abilities in this build. |

I always thought having a steady trickle of new content is better than giant releases, because everything is gradually added, and easier to balance than a giant injection of new stuff to try to balance with everything else at once. Thats what MAG did; changed a bunch of values at once, and then tried to figure out why it wasn't working, rather than individual buffs/ nerfs, or individual new items. EVE gets 2 big packs of content every year, so once every 6 months. A 6 week cycle is exceptionally fast. You can complain about the lack of speed when it comes to new content coming out, but consider this. Right now we get 4 weeks of development ever 6 weeks. If say they wanted to release a patch with 1 week of development, it would still take the one week of CCP testing and one week of Sony testing, meaning you would only get 1 week of development every 3 weeks. That's half as much content per week as the current development cycle. Sorry, but I'd rather be patient, wait a bit longer, and get more. Truth... Mostly I am just QQing against the need to have Sony QA it, I would rather that only CCP QA'd it and then pushed it out, but thats living in a perfect world I suppose. Eh. I was in a bad mood from dying to a remote explosive that was thirty feet away... no joke.
You can never run far enough away once you both know your on top of it, its literally kill the first group of hackers button.

@ Arpentis - "What do you think the next beta period means.. "
The literal definition is the next time the server comes up for any "period of time" besides that its stretch to say that means a whole new build and to ignore the beta proper that is happening as I type.
Lol cant quote anything in here due to the 5 quote max

Well you have to understand Sony doesn't want something to brick people's PS3, and honestly if I was Sony I'd want to check to make sure myself, so I can't blame them.
And yeah, REs are kinda annoying, but the upcoming fixes will be nice |

pokey you also need to realize something man ALL of this is CCPs fault for saying DUST will be out this year. in doing so if your "theory" is correct then ther will only be 2 or 3 more builds if they really push it. before they have to own up to either releaseing half a game and calling it finished or delaying the release so they give ther community what was promised. i also agree with what your saying but EVE has been out for years so its new content IS new and doesnt need a time frame, DUST isnt out yet and was said to be released this year so therfore its on a very short time frame. ther is still so much that we havent even seen and yet have to test.
just my opinion on this matter though take it how you wants felllas, enjoy the game and be patient im sure thers some kind of plan in place we arent aware of. |

i know when ther is a new build they add and change ALOT but you say they dont need to rush the process however thats what they are going to be doing with the next couple of builds that come out. i want to believe they know what they are doing so i will be patient and see how this plays out.
sorry for another post meant to put this in. |

******* pre-Madonnas....its not about you having fun. Its about you stress testing game mechanics and making bugs surface so that others can have fun on release.
There are a lot of people who wish they had access to the closed beta. |

Aaron Atreides wrote:Carilito wrote:Are the two new maps and the mill sp/isk a fantasy or is there a legitimate reason for nothing new this beta weekend?
This beta was fun when you could count on something happening every so often The two maps are in Sony's QA hands right now, not with CCP, blame sony if you're going to blame anyone. Also the Million Sp/ISK is for when they reset our avatars, either next week or the week after. Most likely since Eve is updating soon (next week), we assume we might get an update as well. Its beta, its not a game yet. Sorry you're not having fun. CCP is supposed to be able to skip QA I will look for the link
edit: nevermind they can skip for small tweaks |

My post is very constructive. Apparently people still dont fully understand the concept of beta testing. Its important they learn.

also wanted to add, that Testing for this map is obviously finished its come to the point that everyone has found the most easy way to get kills and just abusing it so its just a matter of who does it first. |
