I alpha/beta tested KZ3 and Resistance 3. We were able to post unlisted videos to demonstrate bugs and game mechanic issues, while respecting the NDA. I don't see why we can't do something similar with DUST, because stories and hypothetical situations can only get you so far in terms of improving game mechanics. |

Becasue someone won't know how to do it, and it will get listed. many times, they allow you to do it on the private forums so that it is kept under control. But you know you are going to have people posting those vids to youtube and everywhere else. Then Joe Schmo who has access to the forums is going to post links to those unlisted videos on every forum they can....

Because it's the digital age and people aren't stupid. By creating it, it will eventually get out. The NDA asks you not to make it in the first place, right next to where it warns you to not send naked pictures to casual partners, for the same reasons. |

It's a NDA violation. If you have any bug to report that is so complicated that needs a video, 99% of the times means that the steps to reproduce are wrongly written. If we are in the 1%, the Dev will probably get in contact with you in order to have more explanations.

I doubt it. You know how hard it is to find glitches? I have spent hundreds of hours in MAG looking. I only found around 5-10. |

Someone doesn't know basic math. Even as an extreme lowball, there is over 25000 testing-hours put in every week. With a lol-tastic claim of only finding 5-10 bugs in MAG over hundreds of hours, the statement "it's probably been reported and fixed by now" is significantly more credible. |

Yes but people don't look for them. How often do you go into games trying weird things with corners and what not. They probably have found it by now contradictory to what my previous statement, but theres a chance that they didn't. |

I often try something different to gain an advantage over the enemy. If I find a glitch in doing so, then that's great.

Because CCP doesn't want the general public to see how their game is progressing because they know people will judge it for what it's worth and not spend the time bothering with the release.

I believe CCP has a video uploading service. It _would_ be nice to be able to upload videos to that as CCP can make sure its only viewable to those in the closed Beta. This would be helpful for bug reporting, but really, a detailed report should be FAR FAR more valuable to CCP. If you can't describe it in words, you probably aren't helping them. |

Different companies feel differently. I feel that parking a tank on a building to spawn camp to go 53-0 when the enemy is red lined seem to be a bit... unfair, however we know others feel differently. Just because my gameplay style doesn't match others, doesn't mean my stance is any less valid than theirs, or mean that they should change their gameplay style because I am unhappy. They do things the way they want, and I do things the way I want. |

Nobody can see private videos. They are unlisted on your youtube channel. The only people given access to private videos are specific youtube users. |

Just because the developers of KZ3 and R3 allow it, it doesn't mean CCP is obligated to follow such a standard. There is no federal law in the UK, Iceland, US, and Shanghai forcing game companies to post unfinished betas on YouTube for all to see. Therefore, CCP can disregard your post and there will be nothing you can do about without violating the NDA that can potentially result in a hardware ban. |
