It seems like every time I see an enemy it takes way to much to put him down. I have tryed leading the target and staying on him. Nothing seems to work Is, what am I doing wrong. I go one on one get first shot off and put a clip sometimes more and i die. I understand its a beta but when they can turn around shot a round or two and kill me its annoying. Am I a crappy dust player or what. never have I ever had this problem on any FPS game but I can't put anybody down for the count. Dose this happen to anyone else. |

Are you new to this beta iteration? Remember, this iteration has been live for... what... a month or more? People like me who have played every weekend in the beta has like 15-20+m skillpoints and thus outgun and outarmour every newbie coming into the game. Fair? No. Fun for me? Yes... |

They're just wearing OP gear, ignore them!
You'll need some tricks up your sleeve! Start using remote explosives! Don't take much skill and it one shots anything. You can even explode them after you've died! You see those guys running around in 100k + gear, go blow them up and get the profits!
Get a militia dropship, fit it with some militia gear and go fly aorund squashing people. You'll probably die alot, but do you see those guys running aorund in 100k+ gear, go squish em!
And also, be a gunner in a (preferably) tank or dropship. You'll be able to get lots of kills!
Unfortunately you won't be able to get much isk and sp doing what you want to do at the first stages. But when you get to lvl 5 of a certain weapon type, you'll be able to be competitive! |

THIS... is why the game currently feels so broken and unbalanced. Hopefully they fix and tweak these issues quickly, or people will start to get the idea that only a couple months out from a full official release the game has terrible gameplay mechanics. I so want this game to succeed...
EDIT: I meant everything except for the being a gunner on a tank or dropship. As a new player you can and should be able to kick ass without as much skillpoints racked up. |

There is also still some hit issues with hits registering, mainly sometimes you don't always register a hit if the character model you shoot is side ways or near objective from a sniper stand point it seems that structure shields go a bit far from the edges so even if you should hit the char model you actually hit the structure.
There are some related hit issues as well and they all contribute on you getting a kill. I've also finally witnessed the auto aim thing which is that if you shoot from close enough just keep shooting and your gun follows the target by it's own as long as you don't move the controller to adjust aim. Haven't been able to reproduce tracking from a long distance yet but it's clearly there from experience. |

Or get the militia dropship with missile turrets on, fly to a tower and spam from above. If you are planning on spamming remote explosives use the Logistic suit type 1. You can get 3 sets onto that (15 RE) then you only need a militia LAV, drive to spawnpoints, put remote explosives there and wait till some 1 spawns and farm kills, SP and ISK. |

If you're using an AR, upgrade your skills for that to level 5. Especially the disperse and proficiency. CreoDron is very common, use that weapon as well.
You need to increase your weapon damage. Upgrade your Dropsuit, so that you can hold more items like extra shield. In my Logistic A series, it can carry two shield extender. |

I prefer to fill it up with damage mods and rely on armour. My shields are just so I shine a bit when I get shot. It's pretty! |

There are hit detection issues.
If you're not used to the game, you may not be leading your shots effectively (it isn't hitscan, so you have to account for travel time).
Some players have stacked passive skills and high-tier gear that makes it VERY difficult for new players to do significant damage to them. |

Interesting. I think I should try that damage mods. But, I don't know if it can hold that much because my Logistic A series has Drop uplink, triage repair tool, and a revival kit. |

I sometimes run around in an Assault A and it holds 2 advanced damage mods, simple armour repair, simple CPU upgrade, a proto AR, basic SMG, AV grenades and a healing injection. |

Assuming ur new.
There are hit detection and framerate problems with this beta, that's part of the problem. The bigger issue (especially if you're new) is that there are many players that have been grinding since early in the beta build. Because of this, they have WAY more SkillPoints than you, and have better gear than you. This means they have double (or more) the HP that you have, and their guns can deal upwards of 3x the damage that your gun can.
Basically, you have to accept that for the first couple weeks, you'll be grinding and getting ur shite pushed in. Once you do that, and hit detection gets fixed (hopefully next build) all will be well. |
